Hi Frinds! There are so many cricket enthusiasts. And Sandy2052 started a discussion on "Cricket Knowledge" but no one noticed it. So I thought, if a seperate interest created for cricket knowledge then it would help all those cricket enthusiasts to share their knowledge and improve their cricket IQ. On thing need to be kept in mind that, this interest should not be like a quiz. A question and answer. That is against to MyLot rules. So keep it alive with discussions. Quality and informative discussions. Let us start with first official Test Match. Test in Test Cricket Match might have come from that thought that the matches are a "test of strength and competency" of the teams involved. The first official Test Match is recognized is between Australia and England. The Match commenced on 15 March 1877. And Australia won the Match by 45 runs. The list of historical time-line for cricket can be found at [http://www.cricinfo.com/ci/content/story/239757.html] Provide some interesting information about this Match and series. Happy Mylotting!

That is really very interesting. But it would have been even nicer if England had won by 45 runs in the 100th test.
