Why girls make up more?

hello shibham! i think girls make up more than guys do coz its actually a girl thing! it will be odd seeing guys putting make ups! unless they are celebrities or gays? but with me, yeah, i do put some make up, but just a light one. i just use them to enhance the natural beauty... it will add beauty if its properly used but if not...it will just ruin the beauty and make one looks ridiculous and ugly! have a good day my friend!

Hi Shibam, Friend please, allow me to speak for myself. I use light make up to give some color to my pale check. I used to deal with people and I need to show some vibrance. If I am pale they might think I am sicker than them. So light make up will help in a way to look great and have a natural projection like what you saw in the picture.

my wife puts on make up, but during work only she is a singer and a good one too. but now she no longer works and she only puts a very light make up when we are going out. so i guess that is not calling attention but that is just making her self presentable. in case of others who put make up so much.... i dont think that they are getting attention but sometimes women gets obssessed with make up that they put a lot not knowing that it is already getting attention. some women also put make up because of fad. if their favorite artist wears make up like that, they also imitate it.

It's expected of them?

Because men don't look at ugly women.

nature has its own glow and beauty.. same way girls have their own beauty.. but unfortunately it has become a tradition that girls look more beautiful when they put make up.. i have a doubt., pls answer me.. assume that you know 2 girls a & b., a is beautiful in appearance and she wears makeup.. but she doesn't have a good character.. and about b, she doesnt look so pretty and she doesn't wear makeup but she is a gem in her character and behaviour.. whome would u prefer to marry?

i think it is just the nature and how we are created... girls are created to have the instinct to be pretty and that's why they tend to make up more than guys as they want to look feminine as well... on the other hand, guys are created to look masculine and hence they don't have to do as much make up as girls... take care and have a nice day...

It's a cultural thing, in most cultures I presume. We women are brought up from child hood to assume that make up makes us look better. Not that we should have to do that of course. Some women nowadays reject the notion that we need to have make up on to improve our loks and attract men. Many of us though, are still influenced, whether on a daily basis or just occassional though, to improve our features with make up.

Girls love beauty and naturally they love to make themselves beautiful for self satisfactions.

they are grown up like that for ages.the male chauvinistic world demanded them to look pleasant for the eyes of the men and it is taught for the girls to impress men with their beauty alone.They are suppressed like this for ages and no wonder she use it as a weapon too to revenge the males. By the way,there are some males who are interested in make up.

Hi shibham, I just use a bit of colour so I don't look so pale, but I don't go overboard with it. Sometimes we spot someone done up to the nines with far too much makeup on and they tend to get some rather peculiar stares round here.

as what you said many girls hope that they looks sexy and beautiful,so they hope that making up more to make them looks sexy and beautiful,making up can let them decorate their advantage and their age,i agree with what they done,after all,i notice that real beautiful girl is few.

Hello my friend Happy New Year. Well it looks good and feels really good as well, some days I go without but when I do wear make-up I feel really good for some reason, its woman thing something men wont understand unless they are into that, I think its a beautiful thing as long as you don't over do it. For girl make up is very normal, but now a lot guys start to pay attention for the image, they start to make up and dress up. i think this world is changing

It's normal for girls to put on make-up, but for guys it's not. Except maybe for movie stars or tv personalities, no straight guy would put on make-up.
