Women, Are men stronger than us, or do we just let men think they are?

Personally I do think that men are generally stronger (physically) than we women are. I was an EMT for 5 years and beleive me I learned a lot about physical strength lol...but I beleive men tend to have most of their strength in their upper body and women tend to have stronger lower body strength...I have heard rock climbers say that women catch on better than men because men have this instinct to PULL themselves up but women naturally PUSH themselves up with their legs which is what you have to do I guess (i've never rock climbed myself lol). as far as mental strength...i don't think that has anything to do with gender. I have seen a lot of strong people of both sexes and a lot of weak ones of both sexes as well...I think it has to do with your personality.

Man is supposed to be stronger than woman and this is true when it is the physical aspect.GOd has made them stronger and though women have proved their mettle in sports and athletics I think a comparison between two people who are not equal in physical strength may not be possible.Otherwise, there are instances in both cases.THere are emotionally weak men and women and similarly there are emotionally strong men and women.But God has made women as natural survivors and so they should have greater resiilence in them.Women are not as weak as they are referred to , nor are men aas strong as they are portrayed to be.THey are quite balanced as far as ratios are concerned.

For me, men and women is equal. Each other always mutual need. Men have thought the power of logic so if they have a problem they are not take action directly, they have to thinking first how to solve the problem. Woman have thought the sense of power, so if there is a problem they sprang into action immediately. For long time goes women can be carrier women. They can handle the problem they have in office, just like a men. Other side women have their job to be housekeeping. this is call The super mom. But the opposite, men cannot to be housekeeping, he maybe can work hard at his office same like a women, but he cannot handle the housekeeping job. And this is the benefit from a women.

I feel that men are stronger in few aspects and women in some few aspect ,men are usually physically and mentally stronger than women,women are stronger at advising,guiding and leading their family in the correct way...

i think both men and women are strong but they are stronger on different fields and at different levels. Men could be stronger than women physically but women could be stronger on intellectual levels. But this case is sometimes not true since sometimes the opposite happens. I think what is more important is that men and women complement each other. We couldn't survive with men alone or with women alone.

We may not be physically strong compared to men but we are equally intelligent if not better than men. Our main strength lies in the head while men are in their bodies. lol so the proverbial saying 'Behind every successful man is a woman.' is so true. Men needs intelligent women to build their success.

being a man, i can say that i am physically strong but emotionally weak. it hurts me whenever i see woman crying. i just dont know with the others. happy mylotting

well we might be physically stronger compared to you women, but it's not like you can't kick our butts! speaking of mental strength, hmm i dunno but i have observed you women handle things a little more efficiently . . well depends upon the individual.. nice discussion.LOL

hi, taurisca, i am a girl, like to response to your discussion. i think most men are stronger than women, and they definitely take good care of and protect us. at least most men love their lover and would protect women in any case. but there are some men that they are not stronger than women, but prefer to be stronger, as a woman, i think let these men think they are strong. i think this is good to both women and men.

It depends on which context you consider either sexes as 'strong'. Women are generally resilient and strong emotional beings. On the other hand men are strong physically.

hmmm..i beleive men are physically more strong compared to women and even mentally..we men respect women,love and care for them,women play with both hands,with one hand they ask for priviledge and on the other hand they fight for eqality...

Men are stronger in the sense of physical attributes they have and the stigma society build them. But, men do also have some soft side and weaknesses too. Women has more soft and sensitive part than men. Women stigma in the society is also of different from men. They have special and different uniqueness and role to the society. Even in body build up is more on men. But, in terms of being strong is fair. It depends on the kind of man he is. Not all men are stronger than women and not all women are weaker than men.
