how and where did you spent the new year party ?

i have to tell that for some years now (i am 34 this year) we are spending the new year home with friends or to some friends house. we are not going anymore to crowded places, clubs or squares. we prefer to stay in a relative quiet environment but with loud music after we got drunk and ate the barbecue stakes. does anyone experienced something different ? something that was very special ? like naked party or pajama party ?

We stay home (out of jail)we make yummy appetizers, have a couple of cocktails, have a fire in the fire pit and play poker.

I did the stay at home thing, too.
Personally, there's something about the new years party thing I just do not like at all.
