I just got done watching the highlights of that game. They were showing it between periods of this stinke I am currently watching. Maybe they thought showing it would fire up our wings for the 3rd period of this one. Sure was a happy looking tired bunch of boys..Hey, maybe the highlights worked.Filpula just screwed Hiller out of his shut out!!

I saw the highlights on Hockey Central on Versus. I am so proud of the kids. I can't wait to see them in the NHL.

Congrats to the US junior team. It's good to see other teams win the WJC since competition is key in a tournament like this one. It gets boring when one team wins too much. As for the Olympics, Canada should win it. I see it's all about depth. Canada is stacked. Look at the third & fourth lines or the 5th, 6th and 7th defencemen. The 6th defenceman on Team Canada would probably be number 2 or 3 on the other teams. Then again, I wouldn't mind if Ryan Kesler leads the US to the gold in Vancouver.

Congratulations to the American juniors team for winning gold! I was watching the the 3rd period and OT for this game, and flipping back and forth to the canucks-blue jackets game. Luckily, it was a shellacking by my canucks. So I was able to concentrate more on juniors where it was by far the more exciting game. I'm happy that the US won. I wish more and more junior teams would get better instead of always Canada, US, Russia, and Sweden winning.
