They did it! The US won the World Junior Championship. The US has not won the gold medal in a world junior championship since 2004! I am so proud of our boys. They played hard against Canada. The game tied at end of regulation 5-5. Then the US won in OT. One of the boys just ripped one from the point! It was fabulous. I must confess that all I could think about at that moment was that could be my kid one day. I know it is just a dream but what a dream!! Did any of you watch the game?

No sense wasting the discussion... I watched the game! That's why I missed the first period of the canucks game. It was a great game. The US were loose, and they deserved the win. After the drama of the new year's eve game, this one lived up to the hype!

I didn't see the game I only saw the highlights on Hockey Central. I was so proud of our boys. All I was thinking was hurry up and make it to the NHL, you are needed.I hope your son gets to play in the Juniors , college and the AHL and then the big show , The NHL!

Couldn't see the game but did see the higlight reel. Great day for the boys. Loved to see the looks of pure joy on their faces. I'm sure their parents wished they could freeze that moment in time. Maybe it will give them the momentum they need to win it all.
