your precious HAIR?

Hi all, i want to know how many of you have ever shaved your heads and for what reason did you do it. In the start of the december holidays me and my hubby decided that it is time for a cnange. And what better way to start, shave your head. It is a shocking experience, but it was for a good cause as well. Cancer. I decided that if my hair grow back fast. i will do this at least every two years.

my precious hair is slowly vanishing, it runs in my family father side. i shave my head also but not as often as i want to. though i can say i wear my hair really very short. my wife buys me shampoo that can help me maintain the hair that was left har har har... or shampoo that can control hair fall. but sometimes i shave my head too. i think after your medication you hair will grow back again. dont worry just make yourself comfortable and you will see that the new you looks good. just feel confident. goodluck

I share your feelings, me too, I'm losing hairs. They said it's Alopecia. Some said, it is hopeless, no cure or solution and accept the fact that I'm losing one of my precious assets, my hair. But I am not yet giving up. I saw in TV some people who have been successful in regaining their hairs. Some underwent "nutrient for hairs" injections. Some used Minoxidil, while others used natural hair grower shampoo.

saphrina, that is so very nice of you and your hubby to do that. my daughter did that too. her hair was down her back to her butt. she when and had to cut to give to the children hospital . you no not everyone will do that. and yes it is a shocking experience. but it is for a good cause. you have a very nice day now .

i not want my hair shaved.i like my hair and i like it at the right length.when i was a small kid my mama will joke that she will shave my head because i have many lice and "UFO".hehehe i like playing in the sun.i cry when she say it so i will use special shampoo for my lice.but now that i am lady.i dont have lice.i have good hair now.=)

Yes, hair is precious. I live in a place which is hot almost througout the year. It is common among men to shave their head when it is high summer, but women rarely go for head shaving. I think that it is a risk for a woman to decide to shave her head. Hair is a very important part of a woman.
Some cultures of my country request women and men to shave head when some of their close relatives die. Also, people go to various pilgrimage places and give their hair as a gift to god. These temples and churches employ many barbers in order to shave the heads of believers. Also, big temples export the hair collected by this way and ears a lot of money.
