why America is consider as super power?

Hi. I'm asian guy. All that I knew about America is just from the news on the television. Maybe they were called super power because they are advance in almost all aspect of technology. Furthermore there have a an advance military force. This has been shown in previous war like in Iraq. One things also that I knew is that the advance that they have were also being help by people from other country that being given an American citizen. There were also many asian people in NASA and in many more agencies in America. Lastly, what ever it is, America is still the current world super power. But I've heard that China is the leading in economy..:

I'd like to comment on this. China is not yet the superpower in terms of economy. It is only being used by the real superpowers to manufactured their products because of cheap labor cost. But it is not yet the superpower in economy. If it is, then why the world depends on the U.S. for financial conditions? When the U.S. economy faltered last year, the world kneeled in fear.. Now, if the same thing happen to China's economy, will the world react the same way they did for the U.S.?

you should have just looked up the definition of superpower. it is an economic, political, and military force. so its a superpower.
