Do you like spending time alone sometimes to chill out or meditate or just to think? Where do you go to spend this time?

I have a special room where I go to and also in the summer I go to my special place to mediate and just chill out.

I would love to have a special room like that I bet it is fabulous? I do like to be outside when I can to chill out - at the moment it is so cold that you cant do that for very long.

Hi witchywillow,
No, not in all that snow we are having, but in the summer I love going into the woods or to sit by my favourite tree near the stream and meditate, roll on summer, lol!

I think it is hard when you have kids to find the time but I try to have a little time just to think or meditate. I started doing it a couple of years ago when I had severe depression and found it really worked.
I also do my Craft work alone as husband and son are not witches.

whenever i'm with a book and planned on reading it until the last page, that's when i appreciate being alone to spend with my own company. hehe i sometimes enjoy the lack of the usual noise. my bedroom on the upper floor of the house is the usual place i go to. it has a veranda/balcony where it's nice to chill out with a pitcher of iced tea and some cookies. 
but often, i like spending my spare time with family and friends more. because i get to laugh more often, and i'm sharing precious time together being a part of a family and a circle of friendship.

i like to just sit and watch telly on my own,sometimes i don't even watch it,i just like the background noise while i daydream or sit on think

I love spending time alone. I am the only child of my parents and both my mom and dad is working so I am habituated with being by myself,and unlike many of my friends I like it! I have my own room and spend time here doing things what I like to do ranging from reading story books,surfing internet or sometimes doing nothing sitting idle!

I have been wanting to do this but my schedule does not allow me to do so. It does not have to be far from home as long as I would have the chance to do some soul-searching.
