They are right in saying we should not blame God

There are many people who say we should not blame God. I agree with them. However, my reason for not blaming is different. There is no God. So, I cannot blame an imaginary creature. Blaming God is as childish as blaming Santa Claus or Donald Duck. I am responsible for whatever good that happens in my life and I am responsible for whatever bad that happens in my life. No god involved. All credit and all blame goes to me. However, I am surprised by some people saying we should praise God, but never blame God. This is childish. If one has to praise God for the good, then there is nothign wrong in blaming God for the bad. If you feel it is not God that is responsible for the bad in life, then God is also not responsible for the good in life. Also, often it is just questioning that is misunderstood to be blaming by some believers. Ask a question on God and you will see some ready to defend God, saying who are we to blame God. But questioning is not blaming. Who are we to blame God? And who are we to praise God? It is wisdom to do neither or it is wisdom to do both.

not at all, instead we should think what to do instead of thinking why it happened. its all written that we have to get this much happiness and this much sadness in life. God is not the one to blame as god helps those who help themselves. one must be tough enough to stand bravely infront of problems and tears and should try himself to come out of the problems instead praying to God for taking him out of the latter.

hi fred .. anything good or bad that happens in our life is of our own doing .. this is well defined in the law of karma but to believe in this one has to believe in "re incarnation" which is only believed by the hindus n buddis the negative things that happen in our lives r due to the "terrible" actions that we did in our past life while for the good deeds we did we will of course be provided with good things in current life .. in line with this .. we do have some percentage, if i am not wrong about 30% judgements done in current life which will control th path we take - i.e - if i decide to choose the path of "goodness" i may have a chance of beter life in next life or otherwise.. we thank god for giving us the "strength" in overcoming all the difficulties in our life (we can not blame him) sincerly praising god from the depth of your heart is also a way to thank him for guiding us to the path of "goodness" law of karma is the only answer i have found why i am what i am n why i go tru hardship at times n got a GOOD HUSBAND, n not blessed with a child ~ my recent accident n breaking a bone ~ is all of my own doing in my past life ~ not god cheers

Only a fool would say that there is no God. I'll give you something to think about: There is no salt. Would you believe me if I say that there is no salt? Surely, you'd say there is because you can see salt in your pantry, you can taste salt in the seas, you can even touch it, you can even feel it at the your back. That's what atheists want to project. They don't believe in something or someone they don't sense. That's really lame dude. Be more wholistic.

I am a believer of God and I draw strength knowing the God exist. Other people believe them like other people do, but if others do not believe in the existence of God, we should not fight with them.

I'm thinking on the same question! Why we should thank God all the time for everything good that happens and not blaming him about all that goes wrong? And what is God at all? I don't thing it's some kind of creature. In my opinion God is in us all. He's our inside voice! We have the power to make something happen. There is old saying " If you can't help yourself, even God can't help you!" That's because there's a piece of God in any one of us! You should thank the God in you and blame him as well. We're the one responsible for what out life is.
