Who is ur favorite Cricket commentator?? For me, its Tony greig. He creates an enthusiasm in the audience wit his commentary. I like Harsha Bhogle too, but it seems to be somewat biased towards one of the sides.

Tony is simply great. He had an excellent voice. He is the best commentator i have seen in years. There are also Ravi shastri, Sunil Gavaskar and sanjay Manjerekar to name a few indian commentators and don't forget Navjot Sidhu, He has his own style of commentry. The use of words and terms are just extra ordinary. I think Ravi Shastri is the best indian commentator till date. But if we analyse the world of commentators, My favourite would be Tony only.

You are right friend, Tony greig is a very good commentator but the way Jeoffery Boycott speaks it is very good to listen, Ravi shastri and sunil Gavaskar are also good in their job.

My favourite is Ravi Shastri. He does take his job seriously and is quite good at it. Harsha Bogle would surely make it as my second best, he has so much of cricket data in his head and he has never played cricket.

New to test match special in the UK is Michael Vaughan. He is both insightful and humorous and very positive. a great addition to the team. Boycott irritates some but says it like it is. And how can we not mention Henry Blofeld and his dulcet tones. Sir Viv Richards is also a very calming influence in the commentary box.

i also like tony greig.. you are correct that he creates an enthusiasm in the audience with his commentary.. that is a wonderful ability.. isnt it.. when a player scores six there are only few commentators who can create a picture about it using the words.. and tony greig is best at it.. i love that guy..

I like Tong Greig. He bring a lot of energy to his commentary, its almost like he has a certain vibe to get you involved in the game. He is especially good when batsmen are smashing the ball all over the park or when a bowler is going past the outside edge regulary. I also like the way he puts the key into the pitch during the pitch report. He is very experienced and good at his job. I also like Richie Benaud, he is very insightful into the game and always has past stories to tell for every situation in a match. Those are always very interesting, but most of all I like the way he talks. Richie is probably the favourite commentator of many people around the world. Ian Chappell also gives good insight into the game, but his comments are sometimes controversial. Sunil Gavaskar and Ravi Shastri are also good, but they can get boring to listen to after some time. I like Shastri's description of things though. But overall I am not very impressed with these two. The team at Neo are pretty dull actually, no real spark in them. Harsha Bhogle is also pretty good. But Geoffry Boycott is probably the best when a match gets dull.
