Do you think it is right to fight back our parents in an argument even though we know for ourselves that we are correct? Is it right to express and insist your point or stand with them though for them it might sound no respect? But as for you you don't mean to disrespect them.

Maybe it depends on the situation and matured understanding of the parents and kids. Sometimes parents keeps on fight with their kids because of their dominant nature with out understanding the point of view of their kids. Some are ignorant in their ideas not to understand other opinion. They want to pursue that they are right.

I guess sometimes you can't just sit and listen to them scolding you. There will be instances that you feel like you want your voice be heard also the way they rebuke you. Though not all parents raise their voice when rebuking their children or children raise their voice to their parents in an argument but I find it very minimal and case to case basis.

It's not right to fight back, but we have the right to defend ourselves when we believe that what we did was right. We should still do it in a respectful way because they are still our parents who have raised us the best way they know how.

I basically understand what you mean by that and I don't mean to be disrespectful about it. But sometimes it depends on the situation and for them you might sound like your voice is higher than them because both of you are insisting your points? They are the parents and as usual they will insist that they're better and more knowledgeable than their children.
