What do you think about man with long hair? or about woman with very short hair?

Do you like man with long hair? I like this if man know to care about his hair, keep it clean, and of course if his face look good with long hair.
But i don t like when they keep very long hair, not clean.
what do you think? Man with long hair, and woman with a very short hair...is normal?
Is your style or not?

In the society that I grew up in, it was typical to for women to have longer hair and men to have shorter. Now, though, it's become totally socially acceptable for women to have pretty much any kind of hair do they'd like - whether it be long or short, wavy or curly or straight or whatever. We're pretty open minded about these things. For some reason there's a double standard for men. A man (ESPECIALLY A BUSINESS MAN!) with long hair is just.. unacceptable. And like you said, unclean. I don't know why this is, but it seems to be the case. Not that I look down on men with long hair; because what they do with their is ultimately their decision to make - but I feel this is the way society sees things!

I know what you say, i like woman to have long hair because my classic education too, but i admire when a woman have couragge to be more "different"...about man with long hair...i like when he is a star to Hollywood, there are few with great hair...

I think that you are right up to a point, Maezee. I think it is totally acceptable in our society for women to keep their hair pretty much any way they want as long as it "looks good", but the "looking good" refers to the societal standard and not ones own personal opinion. When women color their hair bright colors or wear "outrageous" styles (meaning not ones that everybody else is wearing), then sometimes they are not accepted either, especially if they are business woman or work in jobs that deal directly with the public.
Men sometimes can get away with having long hair if they keep it well-groomed, especially if they wear a pony-tail while at work. There are obviously industries that frown on this, but more employers are becoming accepting of long hair on guys as long as they still look professional and well-groomed. Some men just do not look good with short hair, and society has changed to become more accepting of guys with longer hair, so it seems that employers are leaning more towards the overall look of a person and their qualifications rather than focusing on just the length of a man's hair.

I don't like this. I think it's very ugly. There are some cases when womans looks better with short hair than long hair but it's an exeption. I don't like.

I'm a girl and my hair is unuasually short. That's because when I went to cut it last time, I cut it too short. Normally I keep it about mid-back and shoulder length. However I cut one spot too high and in the interest of keeping even I cut the rest to match. So now I'm letting it grow out.
However, if I see long hair I automatically assume its a girl. Unless I actually hear them speak. But once I realize its a man, I don't see anything. Or say anything or particurally care. Its none of my business what they do.

I am a man that used to keep his hair quite long. My family would make fun of me for the amount of time I would spend on it. I eventually had to cut it off after an unfortunate bon-fire accident. :o( But I am glad I did. I enjoy being a well groomed man. As for short hair on a woman. I think some women can pull it off and some cannot. It seems that only very petite women can truly work the short hair styles and look great. But the taboo's of Men with long hair, and women with short hair are fading fast in the US. Not many people even mention their thought on it where I live anymore.

I think its perfectly acceptable for a man to have long hair and a woman to have short hair. I have longish hair and im a boy. Its not down to my shoulders but its nowhere near short. I wash it everyday and keep it clean. Whats the big deal :P

I have nothing against guys with long hair or girls with short hair. I mean, there are those people who can carry off hairstyles like that. But I prefer guys with short hair because they look clean-cut and masculine if they have shorter hair. Guys with long hair usually have issues, they usually have a story behind that long hair. But I respect whatever reasons that they have.

Well, I personally think that I find women (because I'm a guy) with short hair very unattractive and therefore not normal. I see women with short hair on tv all the time, but In my country I rarely see women with short hair. I'm guessing, the same thing applies for men and usually, men with long hair don't tend to keep it clean as it becomes to much of a hasle to do, especially with the beard.
So for me, women with long hair, I find sexy and I'm not planning to go out with any girl with short hair.
However, if its someone you love, who has long hair and the next day her hair is short, then that, for me, does not count.

Well for me, its just different and uncommon. But nothing wrong with it. However as a man, I love a girl with a long hair. It showed me that she can take care of herself, beside long haired girl, looks so elegant. If she can take care of her hair, then she can take care of herself, and she might can take care of me. :D

I'm a man and I used to have long hair, and you know what lots of women jelous about my hair because I have a healthy long hair . so as long as man take care of their long hair Ithink it is okay for mat nu have long hair.
for women, as long as the hair is not too short like army haircut ithink it would still be okay as long as it suit the shape of their face, my GF's hair now is as shotr as Demi More when starring "Ghost" and it look wonderfull

I happen to love when girls do something different with their hair, short, dye it, mohawks, w.e. i love it, but then again, i kinda do love the whole alternative/punk/metal look on girls so maybe im biased, but its incredibly sexy and exotic sometimes
as for guys with long hair, I did it for a while and Some girls really responded to it, And I did love the feeling of a sexy short haired girl running her fingers through my long locks lol!

I have experienced before that I cutted my hair like Demi Moore style and it looks good. I don't care if it is short, I like it , I like the wash and wear type of hair. About men who have a long hair, I felt that is their choice and I don't have a problem with that. I think they are the ones who will be having a problems because having a long hair is a responsibility. You have to maintain it healthy. While having a very short hair on women, it fits them. Maybe that is their choice, because like me I like wash and wear, and having a short hair this day is a fashion trend. For me its normal for having hair in different manner, it brings out different personalities.

I actually love long hair on men although I am not opposed to short hair. Personal hygene is important whether they have long hair or not. As for the women with really short hair....I keep my hair fairly long but to each her own. It doesn't really matter to me much however someone chooses to wear their hair. Whatever is comfortable to them is fine with me.

I think men with long hair are very attractive if the hair is clean. I think women with short hair are not usually very attractive. I think women were meant to have long hair and I wish that men were. I have had both short and long hair and I prefer it long.

I don't mind seeing a girl with very short hair, it's a style that's been acceptable to us girls since time immemorial. But a man with long hair tends to put me off. I am from an old school and I want men to be wearing military cut, or at least clean cut hair style. I don't care if they have the shiniest long hair, I still find it untidy.

I don't like a man who has long hair nomatter whether he looks good or not. I think it's not neat at all. Sometimes the man looks a little feminine. But strangely, if a short hairstyle suitale for a woman, I think that's OK.
