free now, suddenly i want to remember what i ate yesterday. hmm, yes, i can. noodles, oranges and bananas for breakfast, fish and vegetables for lunch with rice, chicken and vegetalbes with rice for supper but sometimes i cant. some say that when older and older, the memory will go worse and worse. i'm very afraid of it. but i prefer to think that because i was too busy the day, so i couldnt remember the things, such as the meals in the last day. so how abt u? can u remember what u ate yesterday when u want to recall? or what happened yesterday? how do u think of ur memory?...

Yesterday (Wednesday) I had pepperoni pizza, two of them with a big helping of coleslaw, washed down by a glass of Orange tango, not the most healthiest of meals I admit but it was a treat because I had been at the gym during the day 45 minutes of jogging uphill, I burnt off a lot of calories so I figured I had earnt an unhealthy meal for all the work and calories I burnt off. Although if you asked me what I had to eat a week ago then I wouldn't be able to remember so quickly.

I think it is so funny how most of us can't remember what we ate yesterday or other little things like that. The mind is just funny like that. As it happens I do remember what I ate yesterday. I had a huge bowl of Dinty Moore Stew. I happened to be in the store and saw a can and since I hadn't had it since I was very young I thought I'd give it a shot. It certainly wasn't the best stew I've ever eaten, but, it certainly was a change of pace and it filled me up. For dessert I had a bowl of vanilla ice cream with Hershey's chocolate syrup. Mmmmmmm....... Purrs, Catwoman=^..^= & Mija

Hi yolanda, you have started a good topic for me to test my memory eh... Let me think first...what I'd taken for breakfast yesterday. You know we take three meals a day and this goes on day after day. For there are numerous of foods in different varieties are served as meals, so it's quite easy to mix up the foods we have taken right! Yeah, further more I'm getting older now If I'm not mistaken, I had taken a big round piece of tosay (an indian pancake) prepared from rice flour and beans, to eat together with vegetarian curry as well as some stir-fried rice noodles, and cup of hot honey. We are used to eat vegetarian foods on the first and fifteenth of chinese lunar calander. We then ate out during lunch time at a nearby outlet selling vegetarian foods and all sort of dried organic vegetarian foods and beverages. My husband's elder sister prepared some homemade vegetarian dishes and white rice for our dinner. Yeah, I could remember this so well for yesterday was the 1st day of the 12th month of the chinese lunar calander. This means that there is still a month or so to go before the chinese new year or you all call spring festival in your place. And we can see the shopping malls here are well decorated with all kinds of ornaments mostly in red color to boost up the new year festival atmosphere Have a wonderful day and happy posting

Minced beef cobbler which was lovely, lol. It's strange as my memory is pretty good and remember much of what goes on in my life for about a weeks or so, but after that it just gets lost. But then again like this afternoon I could remember stuff from over 30 years ago and even remember the exact taste of food I had back then, or what someone said at an obscure party I had gone to which until now I hadn't even thought about.

I remember what I ate yesterday very clearly. I've had the stomach flu for the last day so I attempted to eat chicken noodle soup, but that didn't help with how i was feeling. My memory is pretty good on remember what has happened in the last few days, weeks but it somes to small things that i tend to forget... where i put that important note that my son brought home from school, lol...

This is a very tough discussion, so giving my view of the topic requires a thorough research . Did i eat fried pork yesterday morning? Perhaps steak with rice during lunch? How about Thai food which i didnt recognize given by my friends? Hmmm.. So far, my memory is working perfectly fine. It's scary to know that we have memory loss or what not. Just the thought of having memory loss such as alzheimers, scares the crap of me..Whew!

Yes, after recall it little by little i can remember what i ate yesterday. I am living with my parents now, but i ate nothing in the morning due to my mother went out earlier than me=p. The lunch should have ate fried cabbage with a steamed roll made by my mother, but my colleagues invited me to eat chinese noodle soup. Ha~~yesterday was my mom's birthday, of course, my father had prepared chicken wings?stew yello croakers?scrambled a kind of part of pig with leeks?trumpet shell. He split all these foods in different type plates and decorate the verge of them~ So yummy~

Well ! taking meals are daily activity, so people seeing it insignificant do not even bother to remember. But if someone go to a party then he or she certainly remember the menu. So the significant can be remembered whereas insignificant can't be..

Hi yolanda, yes it certainly does become more difficult to remamber things you do as you get older. It appears to me that unless you concentrate to remember things, they will simply slip from your memory, a little like on your computer. If you don't hit save, it's lost, which means most things we forget about are those we do everyday. At nearly 70, I have to try hard, if I want to remember things.

hello yolanda! hmmm...let me think. okay, we have rice, ham, egg and marinated porkchops, coffee & banana for breakfast yesterday (only because we have visitors) hehe but if we don't have visitors we will just be having coffee & bread and some fruits! rice, chicken soup with veggies & banana again, and for dinner, rice, fried fish and the left over of chicken soup...and i eat a lot of green mango with shrimp paste yesterday! just like you, sometimes i tend to forget some things...hehe sometimes i feel that i am having memory gaps...but if i really try to recall things, i can remember it since i am the one cooking in the house! so far, i think my memory is still working good for me...but sometimes i also have selective memory...haha
