I see all of them have interesting stories to tell. But mine is pretty boring I guess. I had an arranged marriage. Typical south indian boy and girl meeting with both side parents, relatives and friends present. We were given each other's photograph to look at and then when all of us agreed, they were asked to come to my house. Snacks were served and talks were going on about where he was working and how is the place where he lives etc. I was all dressed traditionally with jewellery and stuff and was told to wait in the room. I was listening to them talk. Then my mom came to fetch me. I went to the room where they were all sitting and chatting, waiting for me to come. It was so embarassing actually. Then I walked in, said namaste to all of them, said hi to my future husband and sat there waiting for them to ask questions about me. They did talk very less. I hardly stayed there for ten minutes. Then was asked to go back into the room. Phew! Later both of us gave our consent and started talking over the phone since he was in another city. We just had one month inbetween our engagement and marriage. I came to know fully about my husband only after marriage. So that's my story

What you say is true. It does not matter how you meet your spouse. It is how you live your life with him/her. Thanks for the wishes and I wish you the same.

The first time I met my husband we were in Kindergarten lol. We were in the same class till second grade when his family moved out of the area. I don't really remember him much from those grades. He was pretty quiet and kept to himself. Then in 10th grade he moved back. I remembered him. The rest of my group of friends didn't really know who he was because some of them were in other schools in elementary. So my friend thought he was cute and we felt bad everyone else kind of ignored him since he hadn't been around for so long. We live in a small area, so everyone knows everyone and had been in the same classes for years. He started to hang with our group. I had a boyfriend at the time. Right after we graduated is when i started to notice him. He came to my friend's graduation party and was looking pretty good. We had tried to get him and my friend together a few times but he wasn't interested in her. She wasn't too happy that I was eying him up either. So he was with all of us one night when my friends and i were talking about me cheating on my boyfriend. he had cheated on me and things had been bad for almost a year. next thing i know he(my future husband) shows up at my work to visit me and it becomes a regular thing. We start hanging out and for awhile i just think its nice to hang out but i didn't think i felt anything for him. meanwhile i still had a boyfriend. at the end of the summer his sister got killed in a car accident. i was with him when they told him. it killed me to see him so shocked and upset and crying. I had to go home but i didn't want to leave him. i cried the whole way home. shortly after that my boyfriend, my friend and i moved in with him to rent the house his parents left him to live in when they bought another house. i had realized that i had fallen in love with him so i broke up with my boyfriend finally after a few tries and him threatening to kill himself. we dated for a few months, then he asked me to marry him. we married a little over a year later and have been married for 8 years now and have 3 beautiful kids together.

I met my boyfriend in a van terminal. It was unexpected and I was a bit surprised but I'm really happy. I didn't realized at first that I felt like I like him a bit but not really, so confusing. I can see him in the campus almost everyday and that's how I kinda developed my feelings for him. And then I found out we have a common friend who introduced him to me and that's how it all started. I'm so happy and still in love now.

I met my husband at work. We dealt with each other on a regular basis and one day he asked me out. I agreed and we hit it off immediately and have been inseperable ever since. I was 17 at the time and we have now been together for 12 years. I still love him as much now as when we first started to get to know each other.

I met my husband in a really romantic setting (not!) in a bar! The one place I vowed I would never meet anyone worth giving my number to and here he was! He had a lot to drink and, initially didn’t have any of the qualities that would ordinarily impress me but there was something there I suppose…I did give him my number and he called two days later and we went to see a movie. We were just friends for quite a long time until I gave in and got ‘involved’ with him (LOL)! That was 17 years ago and I’m still ‘involved’!

Hi eshaan.. I met my husband in another country, I am working in a cellular company, and he's working not too far from my company. We first met at the train station, we didn't talk cos we didn't know each other yet. but in my mind I know he's a filipino, and he also thinks the same he said. Then, after 2 weeks we met again at the church, how coincidence i think, but still we didn't talk. Then after 2 months a friend of my friend invites us for dinner outside because its her birthday, when we get in the place, I saw the same man again, and we both surprise as we see each other, then he smiled at me., then after that night he started calling me, he asked my number to his friend which is a friend of my friend. Then he started to court, he always bring me flowers, chocolates , and a stuff toy. hayyy I missed those days, things are different now. after 4 months of courting, I finally give my answer.. AnD it was YES. after 15 months of dating we decided to get married. happy mylotting.
