What was the worst ice ream you've ever had?

Have you ever tried a flavor, or maybe just a brand of ice cream that was awful?
When I was a kid my mom and I visited family in Japan almost every year.
I remember one time we went in the spring/summer, and we went out to get ice cream from a nearby convinience store. We picked out a couple individual, pre-cupped containers of vanilla and adsuki (sweet, red bean) ice cream. I thought it was AWFUL. The ice cream tasted ok, but the adsuki in it just ruined it for me- the combination of both almost made me gag, but everyone else seemed to like it. w

I love marshmallow in my ice cream!! You would hate phish food by ben and jerry then, but its my fav.

I have never had ice cream that I did not like.
I can see why that ice cream was not good. I
think I would not have liked it either. I have
a simple taste I like vanilla must of all, but
do not put anything in it. I thought about
getting some Friday night, but I decided not to.

There are some local ice cream brands, which are quite cheap, and usually these kind of ice creams will be served in the marriage receptions. Usually it will be vanilla flavored. These are the worst tasting ice creams which I have tasted in my life. I usually do not waste any eatables, but at times I will not be able to consume even half a cup of these kind of ice creams.

Everyone has their own tastes.So a common line can't be drawn.As per my experience is concerned , i like choco, strawberry, orange, hot choco fudge.But i hate excess of vanilla. I can only have a litle of vanilla

The worst ice cream I've ever had is when I was eating a red bean flavored ice cream, I gagged for 5 minutes, but usually all ice cream tastes fine to me.

any ice cream sold on a US navy base that comes in 3 gallon buckets.
i don't know where they get off calling that ice cream,it's awful.

Hands down it would have to be the time a friend conned me into trying lobster ice cream. We had gone out for lunch at a local buffet and she offered to get me some ice cream. Thankfully she only grabbed a tiny scoop of it so it wasn't wasted, I guess somewhere out there someone likes lobster ice cream but I'm not that person.

never tried any weird or gross ice cream flavors. But I just have to say some of the responses to your discussion here blow my mind... cheese flavored, shrimp bits in ice cream... ewww!

i can honestly say not i haven't had any bad ice cream before. but i normally go with the normal flavors chocolate Cookie dough etc

I hate the taste of coffee and I accidentally got some coffee ice cream one time. That didn't make me very happy. Other people who like coffee would like that ice cream.
jalopeno ice cream, if it had been less jalopino, it wouldn't have been bad, I like hot pepper cheese, but this was waaaaay too much. A little heat is good, too much is painful.

like at japan there are a lot of ice cream here in the philippines with weird flavors. but i dont go there. i dont want to taste it. it would be wasting money if i buy something that me, my wife and my son will not be enjoying. now if we tasted it somewhere then find out it was good then we will buy it. but us to buy it to try, we dont do that. we still stick to the flavor we know.

Hi olisaur. It was Ben and Jerry's Double Chocolate Fudge. This was very nasty. I could not stand to eat anymore of this. I gave it to my son and he liked it. That was my first time eating this brand of ice cream. I also don't like Breyer's ice cream too. Certain flavors are not delicious to me.

I actually had the worst ice cream of my life just yesterday. I was really hungry while shopping at Target. I realized I was craving for sweet stuff. And the first thing that came in my head was ice cream. So I grabbed an unknown one without giving much thought to it. In the car I took a bite of it and felt disgusted. I thought it had strawberry flavor, but I was wrong. It was all thick milk with the squished skin of strawberry. Next time I will be careful.
