My brother lives in a house where their are three dogs and they smell horrible. They even pee and poop on the carpet. When ever I go over there their house smells horrible. I can't stand to even stand on their front porch it is so bad. When ever u have to pick him up to go to my moms house he reeks so bad. It is horrible. I wish he would move out of their but he has no where else to go. He is disablitly and has a learning problem. The people he lives with help him something we can't do right now. He gets himself in trouble all the time. I am afraid for him but not sure what too do. I hate that he has to live in these awful conditions. It's no clean in this house. When I go in their I am afraid to sit down!

That is absolutely horrible!! He should get a nurse to help him or something. There used to be this kid I sat around in all my classes, and he reeked like arms and Lord knows what else... Everyone talked about him really ugly and bullied him because of that. I always wanted to say something, but held my tongue because I don't want to be rude or mean.

I understand what your saying Shadow. I knew someone who had that sort of problem with having just an absolute stench follow him wherever he went. I'm not being mean at all what so ever. Just absolutely truthful. If he was in the area, you tended to back up and go the other way. Apparently, though, it had something to do with having a sore or boil on his back that was leaching the odor out. At least that was what was eventually said. But it seemed to me to be more like an over active sweat gland problem. Needless to say, I tried to keep my distance from this individual and don't know if they ever did anything about it.

oh yea.today in a store matter of fact. i kind of felt sorry for the guy because he didn't seem "all there", but i moved away because i just couldn't take the magnitude of it. he probably had no idea himself.

I know you said you can't help him right now, but why don't you start trying to find alternatives to his living situation. Maybe you can make a plan that in a year from now he can come live with you.

Ah, maybe it would be better for him not to have dogs, unless they need them to help him. About the question, yep, I have been dozens of times near stinky people, not only in the public transport, but in workplaces too. I also remember that in high school there was a boy who smelled like a trashbox, and by that time the teachers would choose where we would seat. Guess ho had to sit with him

Don't tell yourself there is no where out there for your brother, that's just wrong. Unless he's a minnor, and even if he is one, there is still help out there. There are ways to teach him to care by working around his "learning disability". Learning disablities are common, but not impossible to overcome. If you care do research on what he has so you know how to help him. Also tell your parents, that if something isn't done, they could lose him because its a health hazard.

That is so nasty, maybe he should have a talk to the people with whom he lives and tell them his problem or something ... i'm sorry but i can't think of a solution for your brother. About the question of the topic, yeah i've been around ppl that really stink ,mostly on public transportation .
