Mystery! Would a Little Mystery in a Relationship Make it More Interesting??

If you are involved with someone, would it make you more interested in the person if there was a little mystery about them? Would the mystery enhance the relationship in your opinion? Share your thoughts with us.

I guess it is but it also depends on the kind of mystery it has. If it can make the relationship a better one then it will help but if a mystery unfolds a lie towards the other partner that can definitely ruin it then it can't make a relationship interesting.

..Hi there meticulo, Your point is well taken. Nothing that is revealed which would shake your trust in the individual can make the relationship better, it would make it worse. You would be wondering and trying to find out if there was anything else that you had been misled about. I am thimking of not putting everything about yourself out front in one fell swoop, so to speak. Letting the other person learn interesting things about you, piece by piece instead of all at once. Leaving a bit of intrigue. Thanks for your response. Take care.

Ofcourse it does. One does not have to share everything as long as one is not unfaithful. Distance lends enchantment to the view. This quote may not exactly suit here but that space is necessary for building a good relationship!

...Hi allknowing, I would agree. Your thought about space is good because nothing is more boring or will have one being taken for granted, than to always be around and leave nothing to the imagination. Everyone likes the thrill of the chase and if everytime they open the door and you are there, where's the chase. Someone once said, that men in particular like the way the soap slips out of their hand each time they think they have it. Women on the other hand have to remember to chase the man, until he catches them. Thanks very much for your reply. Take care.
