Hi, vishalkgupta. This does not seem true to me at all. This entire meaning is negative. And love is anything unlike being negative. I have never heard of love being like this. I wonder where they got this information from. This is not true at all, in my opinion.

I agree to other mylotters that it's not true, it's just your friend's own opinion. Love is a gift from God. Love is patient, love is kind.It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude , it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. I do not see any truth to this. It is all up to you how you take it. If you had bad days in love definitely you will have some similar lines to share. I do not agree to this and would say that LOVE is definitely a way of being happy. I love my friends family and peoples at workplace. It gives energy to live with full happiness. You will get to know all these and many more once you are in love :)

No, its not true. Anyone can just his/her own meaning of LOVE. There are probably million of words to associate love. Maybe your friend is just broken hearted thats why he/she gave the meaning negatively.
