That is my target for all my unresolved discussions.I write quite a few discussion and some of them I barely manage to read ,even less are commented and many more are unresolved. Now I have been thinking that this is unfair to my many friedns who have taken the time out to read and respond to my discussion so I have decided to resolve all my unresolved discussions at a rate of three per day so my friends ,you should be seeing a lot of Br's coming your way even for discussions you have forgotten. Thanks for your patience and co-operation. Do you have as many unresolved discussions as I have and if so what is your strategy ?

Hey ronnyb, I agree with you wholeheartedly that it's indeed unfair to fellow myLotters who took the time and effort to read our post and yet we don't respond or even read them! That's why I always make it a point to respond to all mylotters who wrote in to my discussions. And if possible, exchange some pointers with them on my thoughts on the topic at hand.

Hello, Ronny. I have lots of unresolved discussions, but I don't particularly have a strategy for dealing with them. I do make a point of checking responses regularly and commenting back, particularly when I see a discussion come back to the top of the list on my home page. I tend to award BRs when there's nothing much happening in the discussions, so one day I may award several, and another day none at all. I always leave my discussions running for a few weeks before awarding a BR, unless there's a really outstanding one. I've started a discussion this morning, and I already know who will get the BR, but I won't award it for a few days, as it may discourage others from responding. As long as they get done eventually, I wouldn't worry too much.

Hello, I barely have discussion up but once I have up then I try my best to find the BEST one but sometime it is just nothing there for me to rate them. However, If I just rate without waiting then I will regret who I gave the BEST respond to. So, the more I wait the more I get a lot of good respond here. Plus, today I just gave one out... :)

Yes I have a lot but some of them are destined to remain unresolved as they have several responses which I consider worthy of being 'the best'. I started resolving mine on te first day of this new year and I awarded one on one of my discussions which was started over a year ago. The user was thrilled and commented back saying that it was well worth waiting for!

To be honest with you, I probably have as many unresolved discussions as you do. I need to start resolving mines too. I may try to do at least seven everyday until they all go down. I have not been having enough time to complete these. But now is a better time than any. Even if I don't resolve most of my discussions, I still am always grateful that an member took the time to respond to my discussions. I am very grateful for their feedback.

I've actually never thought about a strategy for resolving my discussions, but if I was to take your strategy, it wouldn't take me that long to resolve all of the discussions that I have started. I tend to only start one discussion per day. However, what really does take me a long time is to attend to the discussions that I've started. But, to me this is of utmost importance and it is something that I do on a daily basis.

Very cool. I try to resolve or "best response" my discussions within a couple weeks of posting them...while responses are still fresh.

for the past few days i've decided to give out 'best responses' to thediscussions i've started and i did encounter some discussion wherein i can't decide which response is the best one because of a number of different reasons so that really doesn't bother me so much. i had discussions that were from a year ago and i had recently just marked a best response. anyway, i still have a number of unresolved discussions but i'm not itching to give out a 'best response', not just yet anyway. good thing that you have a target of doing at least three discussion. looking at the number beside your name, one can tell that you have started a great number of discussions. good luck in your endeavor. cheers!!!

Good grief Ronnyb, why don't u do them as u go & not let them build up like that. That would drive me nuts, lol. I'm too organized [which i drive people nuts being that way, i'm sure] to let them build-up. Shame on u, lol.

I haven’t posted any discussions for a while due to other commitments and I am very much aware how easy it is to get behind with comments and BRs! I will be getting back into posting discussions again when my daughter goes back to school in February and I will not be doing more than a couple a week so I can stay up to date. I usually do all my BRs once a week or so. I’m sure people understand how tough it is to get up to date sometimes.

Hi ronny,I too have too many unresolved discussions and I am still reluctant to go through them and resolve them. It is a difficult task as far as I am concerned to select any one response, so I have just left them unresolved. I will probably go through them one by one and where the choice is obvious do so and leave the rest - all the best and have a great evening

Hello my friend ronnyb Ji, Well , to pin point in depth, in my case there are only 13 in numbers and not older than three weeks, in fact I wait for one month time, before I resolve, but I also have two unresolved with zero response pending since 9 months now. But I do not have any grievinces that whay at all no one has responded, I feel that it is my wrongly posted discussion and just never worry about. Your expressions are appriciable. May God bless You and have a great time.

I have a couple that are unresolved as it is just to hard to come up with a best response, especially when I get more than one real good response. Things sure would be easier if we could give more than one best response, but since we can give only one, then I want to make sure I give it to the one that really deserves to get it. I may resolve them in time, but for now, I will leave them go, in case I get anymore responses, and that is possible, as anything is impossible. I don't really start all that many discussions, as i prefer to respond, so as, after I wait awhile, then I do decide to resolve them. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
