Have you ever been trained by your pet?

Many of us love our pets like family and I'm wondering if any of you feel that your pet has trained you at all? Or have you done all the training? I know from my cat's meow that she needs water so I just realized she must have trained me!! It's a distinct meow that she uses just for fresh water!! She like to have me set the faucet on a fast drip and she'll sip abit and then pay for a moment and she's done! And she like the filtered water too! How about your pets? Do they have a way to let you know what they want from you?

Yes, I feel like I have been trained by our dogs. The youngest one in the evening will just sit and look at you and whine, she will usually do this while sitting on arm of a chair, it is her way of letting us know she is ready for bed.

Wow! That's adorable! And I'll bet she won't go to bed till you do so she wants you to hurry up and get settled in so she can get her beauty sleep! She must be a little one if she can balance on the arm of the chair, our Jack Russell would likely topple me and the chair over. She's a very bouncy girl...she has the cutest yawn and will make a sigh noise with it to drive home the fact she's sleepy and wants her belly rubbed before napping...
