When I grow up I want to adopt a kid.To give that kid a good home not many kids get the chance to live in a home.So I want that kid to be happy and to be able to call me mom. So would you adopt a kid? Many kids are in need of homes and I want to cry everytime I see their lonely faces.

I am working through the adoption process with my local state foster care program right now, so I would definitely say yes. As far as I know, I can have children; however, I am not married and am not willing to sacrifice my moral views to concieve a child outside of marriage. I began thinking about adoption 5 or 6 yrs ago and decided to wait until I was around 30. That would give me time to decide I wasn't rushing into something and time to change my mind. Really, I wish I would have started the process sooner because I would have a child by now. I'm getting ready for my home study so wish me luck!

In addition to having my own children, I look forward to adopting several. There are so many kids and babies out there needing good families.

Glad to hear that you would adopt many children that would make them very happy. Just imagine their faces when opening up Christmas gifts.

Yes, actually my wife and I did adopt 3 children at different times through the local Job & Family Services agency we had fostered through many years back. We stopped at 3 because the demands and needs they had consumed us so we agreed we would focus on those 3 and no more after that. I must say adopting is hard especially when it is a teenager because they are mostly set in their ways. Our oldest has been in prison and mooches off others. Our other 2 are a handful and they are younger, hopefully they will end up being productive citizens throughout their lives.

Your a very kind person for adopting not one, but three children. You are making a big difference in their lives and your preparing them for the real world. I know that they will be able to be productive citizens.

Sure I will, if given a chance to be given a child to take care and raise. I will definitely accept the child. I believe taking care of people other than your family is a grace from God. I believe too that by doing this I will be blessed more by God. There are so many children who are homeless and I pity them very much. I know there are disadvantages and advantages about it but the thought that you have help a child is priceless. I will not hesitate or even think twice just as long as there is no legal problems associated with it.

That is very true taking care of children sure is a blessing from god. Yes their is so many children that are homeless and that die of starvation or disease from being on the streets so much. They always have to strive for survival. I'm glad that you wouldn't think twice about adopting a kid.

Definitely! I plan on adopting someday; although no time soon of course (as I'm 19 years old). My philosophy on it has always been: being that there are so many homeless children in need of adoption, why bring one more on this planet? I've always strongly advocated adoption although I'm in no way, shape, or form ready to have kids (and by 'have kids' I mean adopt) yet! Someday, when I want to have a family..And when I'm financially secure enough, definitely.

Thats how I feel too when their is already a lot of kids that are in desperate needs of home it's better to adopt them and make them a very happy child.
