Have you found friends online that you haven't seen in years and lost touch?

I have been bored lately and done a few searches on facebook to find old friends and to my delight I have found a lot of childhood friends I had lost touch with. It has been great seeing what they are doing now and rekindling old friendships. Have you had this same experience?

I have also found some friends on facebook. The only reason I signed up for facebook was to find a friend of mine who moved away and all of the sudden her email changed and I didn't know the new one. I thought I'd try facebook and there she was! From this, I have found many of my old school friends and am also able to keep in touch with my family from other parts of the country. It is a blast!

Oh sunshine I haven't been on here in so very long and I am so glad to see you around still. See we can be online and still find old friends we lost touch with cause look this one let me find you again. Glad you found your friend and I am glad this post made me find you again. I always loved reading your posts so I will be sure to catch up on some of yours!!

Tricia~ the funny thing is, I haven't been on here is a long time either. I saw you posted threw my email alert and thought I'd take a minute to post back to you. Guess we were meant to be friends threw here.

Hey! yeah.. Now I am working. I found my sixth standard friend through orkut. We are in different districts. Its about eleven years long since we met. We spoke in phone and refreshed all the memories. Its really wonderful, I didnt even think that I will speak to my friend again after this much years.

Last weekend I was doing a search on facebook for my school and was looking at names of girls who passed out at the same time as me. I finally found a girl who was in school with me and whom I have not met for the last 30 years. I sent her a message and finally yesterday morning we chatted online for nearly half an hour. It was nice getting in touch with some one after such a long gap.

As of now I never found yet a friend and old friend from facebook but i searched my cousins. I'm trying to search more hoping that i found at least few friends there. thnaks and have a nice day!

yes i do found some of my long lost friends through social networks online esp on facebook..i think a lot are using facebook now that you can't even hide anymore from anybody even to your enemies,,hehehehe

yes. i found some high school friends and grade school friends who i forgot in years. and we are planning some reunions

oh yes we found lots of friends, and my one friend we talk like every day now. and we get to hang out once awhile. its great to catch up with old friends and pick up where we left off at
