When People Ask Your Opinion Are You Always Honest?

I try my very best to give an honest opnion. It is not always easy, as you never know what the person,s reaction is going to be. But i believe that we should always be honest towards others. It is the right thing to do.

I agree. Some people ask for opinions and get slighted when the answer is not favorable to them. So, why ask if you don't know how to listen to the other side of the issue?

Damn right I am!!! If someone is going to ask me for my opinion, I'm going to give it to them straight up. I will answer any questions that they may have, but I will always answer truthfully, and give my own opinions as well as facts. I live in a country with free speech, and it is my right as a Canadian Citizen to use it!!

yes. generally, i make it a point to be as honest as i can. but i also try not to hurt anybody's feelings if at all possible. when someone asks my opinion i'd say my piece in the matter but leave the decision back to the person. sometimes people would only hear what they wanna hear. or that they want someone to support their thoughts and actions. opinions are just that... opinions. people should be responsible for whatever steps or actions they make. and yes, when someone asks for an opinion, he or she must know how to handle it no matter how much truth or observations may hurt.

hi elmiko yes I think honesty is always the best way to go but I do not think one has to be brutal to be honest. There are ways to state your honest opinion that will not hurt anyone's feelings. No need to be unkind in your comments and your opinion at all.

I don't get asked for my opinion too often but if I do, I try to be honest, maybe that's why I don't get asked, nobody wants to hear the truth..lol.

Yes I do. I am a person who is frank and open. I want people to treat me like the way I am doing also. I always find a hard time to impress when not needed, I simply like expressing what is right.
