I am trying to accomplish a task and now after a long time, I am finally kick-starting it. People have been giving me the stares for failing to achieve it and yes, I won't deny give any excuses for it's my fault afterall. It's not just because of the habit to delay but also the fear of the process to accomplish it because I keep telling myself I would like to do it this way and that way but I couldn't find enough courage to take the first step. And now, it has triggered a big impact on people around me where some people pointed finger at me and my close ones got hurt because of this. So I am trying to accomplish the task and hope that I can change this weakness of mine into my strength.

Yes I do ! The thing that I tend to delay the most is house work . I know that's bad and I would like for that to change but for some reason like if I'm doing dishes I'll start thinking about things and get depressed . I don't know why I'm like that I just am and it's the main reason why I delay house work .

Yes, I have a very very bad habit of delaying things, better known as procrastination. I am quite a procrastinator, and especially was in school, mostly high school. There would be a lot of times where I would hand assignments in either right at the last minute, or late, or sometimes not at all because thats how lazy I would be. Procrastination is a very bad habit that is hard to break, but anyone who can break it probably has to be pretty strong minded.

Hi Longsdogin, I have the same fault which is apparent when I was a student. I often didn't finish my homework. when I had a holiday, my homework would be delayed to the last day. And then I could't finish them. When I studied in the university, I reviewed lessons for term examination in the last day. Every time I swore I would study hard in the next term. But I would delay doing that. Now I have worked. I will finish my duty in time. But when I deal with my own things, I have the bad habit. I think it will follow me forever.

I have to admit I also have the habit of procrastinating. I tend to put off small things to do today and have it done with everything else tomorrow. I rely on the next day so much, especially when I know that what I need is always there. I've delayed many important things due to complicated reasons, and a small part of it includes this bad habit.
