Help we are going crazy!!!!

OK we had an ice storm last night and so we are stuck in the house and driving each other crazy. It wouldn't be so bad but this isn't the first time this winter. We have been hit by two major snow storms. below zero temps and now the ice storm and we are out of things to do as a family. We've done puzzles, games, cards, computers. movies and cooking all because this has been going on for a month now. Each time has been for more then one day then add weekends on top of it no one can go out because of the cold temps. Now the heater went out so everyone is having to stay under blankets to make sure to stay warm till someone can actually drive here on the ice to fix it. I swear we will go crazy if we don't get a break from all this soon. So anyone got any ideas for something else to do?? Help we are going crazy!!!

winter can be brutal sometimes and its hard to keep yourself busy when its here. we are in canada and boy do we know about weather like that! we do everything that you do. we also put on puppet plays and stuff like that. you can cook gourmet meals and pretend you are eating at a restaurant. also, check out bored.com. that will bring some smiles to your face.

We were supposed to get the same thing today but it missed us so far....You sound like you got it covered! I do crafts so if I were to be snowed in or the lights went out I could still do my crafting....or do a puzzle.....that sounds like alot of fun. Sounds like you have cabin fever! hang in there.....spring is on the way!

Sorry to hear about your situation. Be thankful that you still have electricity. Can you imagine what it would be like without!
It sounds like you have done it all. Have you tried games like pictionary? or even old fashion charades?

Hello,
im sorry to hear all that. Yesterday in california hit by a strom as well and more today too. But I dont live a snow area. why dont you try to call someone that can fix the heater, so you dont have to get cold in the house.
I dont know what to do either cuz all the thing you said you have done already.... I wish I can tell you. how about do that all over again???
