Allah is The Special Holy Name of the God, The word Allah means (the God), No other one share This Holy Name of Allah, Allah also has 99 attributes All of them Mentioned in The Holy Quran, The Name Allah is necessary for Human Beings so that They can Know Who Exactly They are Talking about. While God Has a Special Name, God is Also behind our Imagination, God Is Behind Gender, but the name is not but to make it easier for Human Beings to refer to God. [042:011] (He is) the Creator of the heavens and the earth: He has made for you pairs from among yourselves, and pairs among cattle: by this means does He multiply you: there is nothing whatever like unto Him, and He is the One that hears and sees (all things). Best Regards!

We believe He exist and had a form but whats the specific of Allah, we have no knowledge, We believe that Allah See and Hear everyhting in this world, but we never know the form of HIS eye and ear.

God has no name…we humans have given name to God as per our own language and convenience. Allah is just the Arabic word for God…it has nothing to do with Islam per se. The inhabitants of Arabia called their God as Allah before the advent of Islam…even Jesus is said to have cried out ‘Eloi Eloi’ while on the cross…which is similar in pronunciation with the word Allah. Allah is not Islamic, its Arabic. Just like I am saying GOD when I am writing in English because that is the English word for God…similarly when I speak or write in my native language, I refer to God in the word used in my native language which is Bhagwan. There is no difference. God is a belief, is a presence, God has to be felt deep into your heart…God has no form. Just because we humans are only too aware of our own shortcomings and inefficiencies, that we look upon God as powerful and merciful and so on. It gives us peace and strength to know that somebody high up is looking down on our every action and judging us and protecting us.

Sairam, I think you didn't get a straight answer from any follower of Islam, about whether God is Personal or Impersonal. If I am not mistaken Impersonal God is the speciality of Hinduism(Sanatana Dharma[SD]) and there also in Adavita Vedanta. In all other Philosophical Systems even within SD, God is Personal. So, it applies to Islam and the other semitic religions too.
