I don't read a lot of classics anymore. However, the one that sticks out in my mind is Animal Farm. although it is a satire of the government of long ago it still applies in many areas today! I love that book!

Mine would be the Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens. The story is beautifully written and is very descriptive. I've read and reread it a few times lol

To be honest, I've hated a lot of the classics that I've had to read in school and out of school. I think most of them are depressing, melodramatic, and boring. Literary critics and English teachers really seem to have something against happy and exciting stories. However, there is one classic that I actually enjoyed. "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee. Not to say it wasn't any of the above, but that I actually enjoyed it.
