Hello there.. Me i like to attend to school because of the money that was given to me everyday if we have a class.LoL. Also, i like to listen to my teachers if there is a discussion in the class because if they will have an examination its okay for me not to review the lessons or read the books in order to answer those questions in the examinations.Well, thats happen if my teacher discuss it clearly. And nowadays, i am in college and one more year to come and i will finish my course.Listening to your professor is a must. Because it will greatly help you to easily understand the lesson and sometimes they are giving some hint or techniques so that it will not difficult for us after we finished our course. Also, because school life is different from the real life or real world.

I was always a good student in school. I never missed one class and listened to the teacher very carefully even though that class was boring, and because of that, I posted remarkable grades in the college entrance examination. My school days have taught me a lot, not only knowledge, but also many other useful things. Many students don't like attending class and cutting class is a normal thing for them. But I don't think so. For one thing, we can always learn something from teachers no matter how dull they are.

I don't really like much attending to classes, but I have to, so I go even not wanting to go. When I'm at class and I don't understand what the teaching is explaining, is pretty frustrating, so I don't really enjoy it. Even if I'm understanding it, going to school means waking up really early, and it's a little painful

I miss school. I hope to go back this year for phlebotomy. I have applied again for financial aid so I hope to go back soon. I love to learn, I love medical oriented classes. I like to challenge myself and try to make all A's!

Attending classes for me was always a nightmare. When I was student, I use to attend class regularly, but not for study it was because the prescribed percentage of attendance per year/semester was compulsory. Now, my school days are over and sometimes I have to attend courses sponsored by company I am working with, in such case I have no option but to attend that class like situation. Well, it is a traditional education system and everyone have to follow it there is no end to it. In this situation I usually try to associate with my co-workers and get them involved in interesting discussions out of the prescribed course material. It's like killing two birds with single stone.

I regularly attend classes and try to miss as few as possible. Of course, there have been times where I've just failed to sum up the effort to make it to class, be it because they weren't really important or I felt absolutely knackered.

Hi singuri, I like attending classes and listening to teachers when in class. I am the one who pay full attention when in class and like to participate in any discussions, too. I enjoy learning and do not want to miss any lessons, though sometimes there are irresponsible teachers. I think as a student I should do my part and show my respect to the teachers. Happy Sunday! agonyaunt69 (12:59am 24 Jan 2010, Hong Kong time)

elementary days were my worst, it's a whole day blah blah from only one teacher for the entire school year and you've got no choice except to attend those classes since you can only get out from the classroom during lunch break, that's the only time you get freed from that boring face from the teacher. I can't recall any exciting day from my elementary years, poor me. :( High school was the most exciting. you have different teacher for every subject and different ways to teach, thus different ways to piss them off, just kidding, but that's high school. learn to play the teachers game or else you'll be left behind. I attended all my classes during high school and i have a secretary during that time, lol. I pay for my classmates food for lunch or recess for 2-3 days and she would write the lecture notebook for me, lol. College, oh, I loved it. I attended all my classes too, but it doest mean from start to end. sometimes i get to class early, and leave the class early too, whenever i feel bored and when i already the subject matter. there were also times that got to class late and stayed there until the bell rings to talk to the professor to consider my being late, lol. It was during my college years that i really learned how to listen to the lecture. i only have a calculator, a pen and my book everytime. I jotted down all the important points directly to my book. that was my only way to capture the lessons i've had. i never review any of those before exams. listening and recalling those that i jotted down were the only things i have during exams, well, the fact is, those will be the things that will come out in the exam. lol

I, personally, enjoy school. I have the days when I cannot be bothered going but I always enjoyed learning and I've gotta carry on to get the correct qualifications. I do listen a lot, but again, you have the days when you slack off a little bit. I try my best and I think that's all that matters in the end.

I always find my classes to be interesting and I learn something new nearly everyday. For awhile I hated school, but once I got to classes which were more than just boring droning lectures and busy work I began to enjoy going to class.

Hi! I feel its very hard to workout my knowledge from books because it will take lots of time to get the topic. But one who (teacher) have studied already about the concept can give us a brief idea about how to approach with topics. That will lead us to get things in faster way from books. I love to attend to school every day. yes, it may be burden but what if the school with lots of knowledge and fun. That will really makes us to attend school.

well, in my school i dont often listen to my teachers, i'd listen to maths class alone, because its not easy to learn maths alone by reading the books... Then as well with the remaining, i do read from book, i would listen to some extent, because the teachers would ask questions, if we dont answer, then have to get punishment, so i'd listen some extent.. Now i'm in the final stage of my college, i never listened to any lecture except maths and maths related subjects in my college... College life is extremely different from school.. in college, they won't bother whether u listen or don't..Even if u listen at the peak, u have to be the text book reader to clear examinations

Dear Singuri, Welcome to myLot. Glad to have you here :) I normally do pay attention in class. I listen to the teacher when they teach. The main reason was I was seated right in front of the class. I am not tall therefore I normally seated in front... If the subject is my favourite, the way the teacher teached was interesting, then majority of the class will pay full attention. Students participation is very important, interaction among teacher and students is very effective. However, I remembered sleeping in my History Class once even thought my table actually joined to the teacher table .. too boring and it really makes me sleep!

ha.ha.ha. Me too. My favorite view is the door, the window and the clock and not the blackboard and definitely not the teacher unless shes young and sexy..lols. If I like the teacher or the subject I listen and participate but if I don't like the teacher and the subject then the windows are my savior.

During the first 2 or 3 years of my college life, I didn't like to listen. I was physically present but mentally absent. Especially during my classes in physics. I dont think I could remember any of those lessons now. I remember the crazy formulas though but I think I will not be able to use its principles in daily life.
