Any idea how this happened?

I was clicking on another member to send a private message. Three different times I was redirected to three different full screen ads/websites. Two of them were health related, one I already belonged to. This is really frustrating. Anything else happening like that here on MyLot this morning?

Maybe it is something with some of the stuff I have joined, or it might be something with the user I was trying to send a message to. It worked okay on the fourth try. Thanks.

This is my first attempt at getting on mylot today, and so far so good, but I will definitely watch out for this problem. It sounds like a glitch to me. All kinds of websites seem to be glitching out for me this morning. Is there ever a day when the whole entire internet works without glitches?

You are right, with the amount of traffic it is a wonder more things do not go wrong. I do not send that many messages, but I also wonder if this member has something set on their profile to do this.

This hasn't happened to me but I am having trouble on my gmail account, it is giving me a security warning anytime I go for the email to the Internet. It is also not showing anything but print, no picture or images. I have taken a look at my settings and find no help there.

It hasn't happened to me lately but the I haven't been here very much over the past year. However it has happened on a couple of occasions that when I tried to open a link to myLot I got some weird website. It is so long ago now that I can't remember the name of the site.

Lots of things we can do with MyLot, even practice our parts of speech. It seems to be doing pretty well now.

havent had it this morning but once i a while some member will have another website load when you try going to their profile just to get business. i dont know how they redirect it but i've had it happen a couple of times and i remove them from my friends list.

I do not think this was the problem. It was not anything associated with the user.

I have not been here on mylot for a few days so I have not had that problem. I will let you know if it starts happening to me.

No not that I've noticed. I had some troubles yesterday of about the same category tho.
I'm just back on line cuz of working on IRs ------drears-----but let's hope I dont run into that.
That is pop ups and should be classified as illegal by whoever bought them tho.
Still, I'd report it to the admin.
I will if it happens to me.

Except for that one time, I have had no problems. I am supposed to have pop up blocker. I hope your day gets better.

Hiya Gardengerty,
Have not had any problems myself just very slow Adsl as usual which makes the page stick and takes for ever to load. I am trying to load a Video up to youtube and it will take for ever that is a problem as I am writing to you right now the page is sticking again and the writing sticks too. Hope it clears up.
