Have you ever did paper ships and float it in water?

Hey all... In my childhood days what we did usually after rain is(as follows)... There will be some water stagnant on road for some hours. We will take a paper and do a ship(might be a small boat..hmm... dunno exactly wat to say that LOL) and float it in water. We will watch how beautifuuly it floats there. Have you ever did it? U can try too...

hello avimra! yeah! my friends and i also do that! haha and sometimes we even have a race of our paper ships/boats or whatever it is called! we also do it even without rain, coz in our place we have this small canal near the rice field and there we have our race! haha nice childhood memories and thanks for this discussion coz you bring back that memory to me... by the way, we also make a paper airplane!

oh nice.. :) paper airplane( we also did that). we call it as rocket. But i dont know how to do that. My friends will make it for me. I want to learn to make it. Its a fun to play with tat. :)

nah...its easy to make a plane from paper...just few folds and its done! hehe actually i try to make one just now and i am happy that i still know how to do it! huh! only if i can demo it to you..i will. its really fun playing those and i remember, some also uses those paper planes to send their love letters...haha(at least i saw some on movies)

I am gonna learn how to make paper plane from any streaming site. I hope it will be there. Usually in my schools and colleges too my friends were doing this, but I missed it to learn. Its not a big deal. Better late then never :)

One of my favourite memories from my childhood is the time my grandmother made me paper boats to float on the big puddles in the farmyard where she and my mother were working. They had stopped for lunch and she made the boats from green paper sacks.She cut her finger in the process and I was worried that she would have to go to the hospital for stitches as I'd had to go a few weeks earlier... but hers was just a tiny paper cut

Hmm... I don't think I've ever done that. I've watched people make paper ships and put them in lakes and creeks but never after a storm. I think it might be interesting to try that.

Yup I did during my childhood days. It's really fun because we have a contest that first boat comes to the finish line he/she is the winner. So we blow harder for our boat goes first...

Well i love to do it with different variety of paper ship and we use to have race to with my friends at school.
