Romeo X Juliet

I watched the first episode and it is pretty much interesting. Some say that the ending is really sad. I already expected that since some parts of the story might be related to the real novel of Shakespeare. I can only say a little about this anime since I haven't finished it yet.

I watched Romeo x Juliet a while back and thought it was interesting. It was only loosely based on the original Shakespeare version though. It makes it a bit hard to compare since the anime is more fantasy like with only the gist of the story being somewhat similar. And I honestly can't really remember much about the anime except for that ending scene which, while a bit cheesy, was a good way to end the story. For some reason, it reminded me of that Leonardo DiCaprio version since that one was also an interesting take on the classic tale.
