Imagine that you can turn back time. Will you change something? Do you thing that you need to change something and why? I think that I won't change something . . . Everything that happen in my life has happen for a reason. Well, maybe I've made mistakes. But they made me stronger than I was. So I don't thing I need to change events or facts about me. What about you?

Well this is the toughest possible question for all of us and perhaps the easiest one as well. Time can't be turned back. Once the time is gone, it can't be turned back. However one can learn with his mistakes and make the best possible arrangement so that God forgive him. But he will definitely be a bit late for it. That time will too late for him. So it is rightly said- "Time waits for none but we have to wait for time to come".

"Mistakes are the building blocks of experience, they are the foundation through which skill sets are built" Everything happens for a reason. I think it's better to leave the past and move ahead. No need to change anything from the past.

I believe that you are right about not ending up where one would be if they had taken a different path. For me the only thing I wish would have been different was if I had been able to finish college. But then if I had then I would be on the other side of the world. I wouldn't have my Hannah or my Dylan. I wouldn't be planning to get married to the best guy I could ever hope to find. As it is, I will go back to school at some point and finish what I started. I just have different priorities now.

Hi, tanniebabe78! Now I'm on way to quit my last semester in university It's because I don't have enough money to pay it. So my case now is near what you experienced before. But my life's not ending with this fact! I'm sure that after time I'll be able continue and graduate. I hope so! Good Luck!

I agree with you. All that has happened to me has happened for a reason. I beleive in destiny and karma and all that and if I changed something it could really screw some things up. As far as the world is concerned I wouldn't be that selfish as to change something for the good of what? Me?

I won,t change anything at all. I am happy with what i have achieved in life. All the ups and downs were worth it, as it taught me to be a better person. I am happy with who i am and the choices i made were worth it.

Thinking back on it, there is one thing that I would change if I was able to turn the hands of time backward. I would have told my mother that there was something wrong with my dad on the day that preceeded his last heart attack. I could tell all of that day that he wasn't feeling well. Then, that evening after we were in bed my mother took him to the emergency room while he was having a massive heart attack. By the time that they got to the hospital he was in full cardiac arrest. I don't know that it would have changed anything, but I'd like to know simply because of the guilt I have dealt with over the years.

I would go back in time to thirty seconds ago, so I could have back the time I have wasted responding to this discussion. And maybe make some breakfast too...

Often I think that there are things that I would have done differently if given the chance. Mostly though I think I would make the same decisions that I made because of the experiences that have come out of them. There is something though that was done to me that I would change that I believe changed the course of my life and has continued to give me trouble throughout my 48 years. This was not of my choosing but I guess I could say that I was at the wrong place at the wrong time and I would make the decision not to be where I was at that time. My life would be oh so different if that did not happen to me. I don't want to go into details because they aren't important here. What is important is that I would make that change.

I would never change anything of my life everything is going ok.No human is perfect therefore life can not be made perfect. We have to learn from our mistakes and grow from them like that.In doing so we know what are the right things to do and what are the bad things to do,so we can tell right from wrong.

Well if I had the power of turning back the time and change a thing then I would have definitely wanted to have my grand-dad with me.....loved him!!! He was a abosolute gentleman and the best i have ever seen.....in a way he was my childhood hero...but lost him last July....if given a chance....i would bet every single thing in my life to get him back....

I have done a lot of mistakes in my life, and it made me weaker, it didn't even teach me anything, i would like to go back in time and tell myself to do the right things, instead of the things I've done, that made me bad.

How far back can we go. If I could change time totally, I would have been born to royalty. If only can go back to childhood I would have gone to a good college. Not so much for the education, but for the invaluable networking.

If i could turn back the time, then probably i will leave it as it is... what has been in the past should remain in the past, so we can look back at it today and we can prepare for tomorrow.

What you said makes a lot of sense. We're all human and capable of human error. But it's up to us to change our mentality on certain things in order to learn from our mistakes, or else we'll make trade in new mistakes for old ones and may even find ourselves in a deeper rut than before. Now, naturally I'd be a fool not to see mistakes I've made and not wish I'da took a different route (alas, certain individuals that I met sporadically throughout my life that didn't mean me any good) but you grow and mature with age. We can develop a lifetime of regret and hard feelings over such things, but sometimes you've got to get out of your own way and start enjoying life. It's too short and it's not promised for tomorrow!
