How to control ur evil desire?

As a person on today which speed up in rhythm of life ,there have an increasing of evil desires in our life .Such as ons ?violent? counter-human and counter-society and so on.
Now,there is a thorny question:how to control there evil human desire and live in peace and development?
So many countries still have war,los of Africa people still have to face the hungry,and the criminal rate still in a high position.
Maybe all of these are closed linked with us ,even everyone should response for them.
How to control these evil desire?Do u have an new idea?

All of us get these evil desires. The more you try to resist it, the more temptation you get to do something evil. Whenever I get these desires, I always I ask myself: what would jesus do?

that would be nice, asking oneself "what would jesus do?" but somehow people from other religion wouldn't ask themselves the same question

If people can manage their greed and lust for power then those evil desires would fade without question...The desires resides in every one of us and it's up for that person to control it.
Knowing oneself is the first step in controlling this desires

Every human is very prone to temptations. Thinking that you can hurt or destroy others' feelings is one way to control your desires. You must think what would be the outcome of your desire and think if you will not be guilty after doing that. Many people today think "come what may". They never think what will happen after they do bad things.

one way I tried to keep my anger/rage in line was to play violent video games on my xbox 360 like saints row 2 and F.E.A.R - this was an outlet more than anything else. now I have my sister to talk to, all the time so that really helps me from getting extremly out of control/violent.
