I've tried Tea Tree Oil, stings a bit though! I've heard its good for eliminating scarring. I have also washed my dogs in the shampoo - smells good but I don't think they think a great deal of it though! Useful stuff eh? LOL

We have a similar problem with our dog too feralwoman and in fact she thinks that water if only suitable for washing if there is a puddle she can roll in. Oh, a dam or irrigation channel is also okay, but definately not a wash tub for her. LOL Thanks for your contribution to the discussion. :)

I have never heard of it before. It sounds like a good thing to have around. I will have to look for it. I don't know what they would call it in Spanish though.

Have a small bottle of this stuff in the first aid box in the truck ..... in case get some cuts or scratches when handling loads ..... this stuff does sting but also does the trick to help healing process. Also have some at home, in the house as well as in the packing sheds in case someone gets cuts or whatever when working on the vegetable patch. My partner uses it for her feet .... deodoriser as well as a soother when her feet are sore from being on them all day ..... it works fine for her too.

It is good to hear that some Pharmacies/Chemists are recommending natural products like Tea Tree Oil when people have conditions that just won't clear up by using the "conventional" treatments. We use it for a variety of things as well, and it is just so good that a bottle should be kept in all households. :)

Tea Tree Oil is a Great product. I have used it for a lot of things in the past. Some things I find it works better than others. The only main problem and issue I had, was the smell. But we used the Products from Melalueca which contain Tea Tree oil for a while, and they are Great too.

Yeah, tea tree oil is great. I buy all kinds of products with tea tree oil in them from Melaleuca. Tea tree oil has healed scars I thought would never look any better and has healed my toe nail fungus. The shampoo has brought life back to my hair and my new tea tree soap has healed my dry damaged skin. And I haven't had one allergic reation. Also tea tree oil is great for getting stains out of all kinds of things. It litteraly has a thousand uses.

Tea Tree Oil is also very effective for mouth ulcers. Dab the mouth ulcer and it will go after a couple of applications. It can also be used as a mosquito repellent.

Yes I agree with you on these cloudwatcher and in fact recently suggested to someone to use tea tree oil for mouth ulcers. I have never tried it personally but do know people who swear by it. Also using at a mosquito repellent, what a great thing to know, particularly as we have more than our fair share of mossies here in Australia. :)
