your daughter, sister, granddaughter, to get her 1st manicure, or ear piercing? Well my daughter is 6 1/2. She has been asking to get her nails painted since she was 3. So today we scheduled an appointment for she and I to get our nails done. Nothing to extravagant. Just a bit of girl fun for mom and daughter. I think we are going to wait a bit for the ear piercing.

I remember and I'm the dad. We went to Claire's in the mall. My daughter was 6 months old, she's 7 seven now, anyway, my wife wanted to get her ears pierced so we went but I didn't want to see her cry cause I knew it would hurt her so I paced the mall. My wife said that the girl was really nice to my daughter and walked her through it with mom. She did cry a little cause I'm sure it stung. Afterward she gave the girl a dirty look, we laugh about that one all the time.

Wow I am envious now! That's one of my to do list when I have a child. I said I'ma gonna make that chance where we would bond over pampering ourselves, go to a salon, spa or something like that. I have a son, he's 5 and are bonding are so for boys like playing ball games, board games, I teach him to write and read, you know things that little boys would enjoy. I would not dare bring my son to a parlor because I think he's not going to enjoy it. so I guess I have to wait for me to have a baby girl to that what you will do with your daughter.

I took my daughter to get her ears pierced for her 11th birthday. I remember that she was almost crying after they did the first ear and I was afraid she would refuse to do the second one. She went though with it and took good care of her ears. Since then she has gotten a second piercing in the ear lobe.

Going to a salon to get nails done is a total waste of time and money. It's a much more enjoyable experience when you stay home and do your daughter's nails yourself. I personally don't understand how anyone could spend money on getting nails done... it's so pointless! There are far more important things to spend money on.
