Can you recommend a good LCD monitor

I am planning to buy a LCD Monitor like from 18-20 inches. what is the good brand and model. cause i want with good display and i don't know which one is good to buy. and tell why it is good. as of now i am looking at Samsung SyncMaster 943SWX. it seems nice. but it says on the specs, windows vista. does it mean it will be compatible only for computer with Vista on it. cause i am using windows only.
does having built speaker important or that good. anyways,that does not have speakers.i don't mind though. but it seems a good one.

I think you should noe look for LED monitor rather LCD. LED is a new technology and give better picture quality than LCD monitors.though they are expensive little than LCD they are low on power consumption.
But LCD's are not bad anyways your choice is good but have a look at this link and this will help you to decide better also.

and the windows vista spec you see on the spec sheet tells the compatibility nothing else so don't worry you can use this for any window even for linux also(lol)

led monitor. i haev not heard of that yet. i will look online for led monitor. but for my budget i may still buy the lcd monitor.

yes led's are expensive but i suggest that you should watch for LED monitors also along that of LCD...best of luck!
