The first Presidential Ad I saw on television was the Ad of Manny Villar. A few ads later there was this that was like released around december the ad about kids singing and all. Then presidential ads one by one made are being aired. You can hear them everywhere. Television, Radio, in the streets, even my classmates are singing it. It is catchy but its kinda bit annoying already.. hearing a dozen or more of those everyday.... I know how ads work, what makes them sell to the public.. But honestly... aren't you getting irritated by it? I mean for me, even they flash those ads, nothing much will happen.. Poverty will always be there... So... Aren't you getting annoyed already?

Well there will be more of that in the coming days. I think nowadays aspirants are still controlling their budget so that they could go full blast of it when the campaign period opens. If I were you better get use to it because more will be coming soon.

Yes I think we will hear more of them in the coming days. This is part of their strategy to let themselves be known to as many voters as they can. With the internet around they even have invaded it to reach out to more people. I think that campaign would be really tight in the coming days as there are many ways already besides the traditional ways of introducing themselves to everybody.

You're right and the most hateful is that almost every politician use poor people to campaign as if they had done something about poverty. We had already experience this that they all promise better life when they are put into position but I think nothing is new.

What can I say here. If Erap won, the government would remain as good as it was but it seems inefficient though traditional. The people seem happy to see how a changed erap runs the country if only he could get the chance. If Villar won, it may all be directed to the poor and forget other ventures such as science and technology which is quite fair in terms of improving the livelihood of people. While locating the list of candidates for presidency I came up with a forum where somebody commented: "It's pretty simple. If we really need change then we should begin that by ourselves."

Very irritating indeed. Local channels are usually flooded by these commercials, especially the ones of Manny Villar. He has like what, more than 6 different commercials already. I can just imagine how much he or his so-called friends have spent for those. And true, that money might as well have been used for better projects that would help those in need.
