I get depressed alot and it is very common.I notice alot of depressed people.Unfortunately,I have to be put on medication to help me because I have clinical sepression. It's hard for me to come out of depression.I think it being the winter months don't help.I do know the sun's light has an affect.I found out people need at least 15 minutes per day of sunlight. The sun is good for depression.I'm mostly feel my depression in the winter months when the sun doesn't shine much.

yeah, winter season could really cause depression, since you don't like going out as the weather is freezing cold and you have not much choices to enjoy being outside, especially when you're used to spend time being outside. And everyone seems tired and just want to stay at home. Well being depressed takes a lot of courage and determination to fight with it and be happy. You just need to look at the positive side in every situation as things always happen for a reason. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

I get depressed a lot. I'm moody by nature. I may get depressed about not doing well in an exam or a paper. I may get depressed about my boyfriends theatre and dance rehearsals. I may even get depressed about what my mom serves for dinner. For all I know I could be bi-polar. LoL!

I do but I always find ways to pick myself up or my friends send me something and it picks up my day and I know that I live is not so bad. I hate to say this but other peoples misery is often an inspire to me. My life is not as bad as that and I'm grateful that my issues are not theirs. Like haiti for instance. I feel for the people there but I'm very grateful that I wasn't and my life isn't that bad. I'm still here. The depression goes right away.

I don't get depressed very often. I live my life and I try to enjoy every moment of it, so depressions are not in my to do list. I sometimes get depressed when I'm very tired and I have a lot of work to do and I don't have time for it or I don't want to do it. But it doesn't last long. When I feel bad I usually go for a walk in the park, or go out with my friends. I feel better every time I do that.

Dear friend, I do often get depressed, mainly related to my only daughter whom I cannot see unless I get a court order. Other things are going fine.

Well sometimes yes. It depresses me when people don't accept me the way I am. like last evening. As a women you are in a Pub. My BF is playing darts and they ask me to join. So I did. After a while the men start talking, making jokes. I join in and joke too. Somehow that does not work. Because I am a women! It is just not fair. I got depressed last night when we got home. But, my BF says I am over exaggerating, that is not how men behave to women. I think know I finally understand why there are mostly only men in places like that. The women stay home, because they feel left out. I wish I were a man. That way I could have fun too. Without being looked at as if I were stupid.
