How Many Pillows Do You Sleep With?

I know this is a strange question but last night I was wondering how many pillows do people use to sleep with. I sleep on two and then sometimes I hold one under my arm. I think I developed this habit when I was pregnant. How about you? How many do you sleep with?

There are 4 in our bed..I usually end up using only one at a time, I don't know at what point I switch them out, but it rarely happens that I wake up with the same one I started out with. Good thing we are only talking about pillows here.

Now thats a nice question! Well I generally sleep with 2 pillows. One under my head, and one under my arm. Sometimes, if there are guests at home, then I do even sleep with none. Just for more knowledge, they say that when you hold a pillow around with your hand while sleeping,it indicates that you feel a bit insecure!

Well, you are probably correct about the insecurity thing. Interesting. Thanks! :)

Hello canesfan1964! I sleep with 3 pillows one for my head, and two for right and left side, one each. They made me feel relaxed and comforted that’s why I keep one for each of my side. I love their softness and cuddliness, most on the days that I am really tired from work. Thank you so much for the discussion.

I'm like this too. When I was pregnant I had pillows all around me. I was like in a pillow cocoon.

i sleep with three but every time in the morning i always find myself waking up with no pillow under my head at all. it's so strange that somehow the pillow all fell onto the floor and the long pillow is at somehow outside my room.. One of the mysteries of sleep..

Sounds like you are pretty active while you sleep. Do you dream a lot too?

Four pillows for me but that's to do with a back problem which means I sleep in a semi upright position and they are there as support for both my back and neck. Even before the back problems I always slept on two and would often keep switching them over whilst trying to get to sleep as I always hated it when a pillow got warm.

Mee too. That's so funny. I am constantly switching my pillows because I am so hot natured! Comes from growing up in the south where there is no air conditioning and just ceiling fans!

I take my pillows wherever I go as well, peoples houses, hotels, etc. I just like having my own, you know?

I only sleep with one pillow. I've never been able to sleep with more than one. I guess it's because I sleep on my stomach. So if I have more that one under my head my neck is tipped in an uncomfortable position and I get a stiff neck. my husband sleeps with 2 but he sleeps on his back or on his side.

I only used one pillow also when I use to sleep on my stomach. Now I sleep on my sides!

I have about six pillows on my bed if not more but I like to sleep with the large one. And sometimes just one of the really soft ones. L.O.L.

The only time I have a bunch of pillow on the bed is when I'm watching TV. I would put in 2 or 3 so I could sort of sit up, while leaning back. But for sleeping, I only use one. And I want it as soft and as flat as possible. I sleep better that way.

I like to sleep with many pillows. I don't like to have pillow under my head,as long as i am sleeping on a soft bed. But i like pillow to hug on,and also under my feet or to put my feet on,like in an elevated position, esp when i am tired,it gives my feet some relaxation. have a good day always

On our bed, we have 4 pillows in total. I sleep with 2 pillows and my husband sleeps with the other two pillows. For one reason or another, I prefer sleeping with two pillows. I feel that I sleep better with two pillows rather than just one or with three or more pillows. It's just the way it is.

I know that some people sleep with piles of pillows, but I use only two. They provide with comfort I need and leave me enough room and air to breath. I've tried using more pillows, but they take up so much room (my bed isn't too large) and I don't like to mess with large amount of them. Lots of pillows may be also collecting dust inside/between them. But I also respect the people who sleep with many pillows, everyone has his/her own preferences! :)

Just one under my head. I don't think this is a strange question at all... in fact I think I've seen it on mylot before.
