The busy and working people need to wear clean and tidy clothes everyday as they have to go outside everyday. And their clothes get dirty very soon. In this economic world where people think about every single bit of money it is very hard to have a laundry wash for every clothes we were. Sometimes in absence of another hand at home we are compelled to wash our clothes own. As a student I have to clean my clothes own as there is no family member with me where I live. Tell me about some of your experience of washing your clothes.

When I was a little bit younger I washed my own clothes as well as those of my children and some of my sister and mother's clothes as well. Now, however, I live in my own house and usually wash my clothes and my children's clothes. Occasionally, however, I will also wash some clothes for my nieces whom I keep during the day. We have our own washer and dryer so the only expenses to me of running them are the electricity, water and detergent that I use.

Fortunately, I have my mother to take care of my clothes. We have washing machine. I don't have to worry about changing clothes because I have my mother with me to take charge of it. Somehow, I wash my clothes when my mother is not around. I can wash it using my hand and using washing machine. I can take care of clothes but only during weekends.

It sounds like you expect someone else to wash your clothes. If I stay with my daughter I was my own clothes...if my daughter stays with me she washes her own clothes and those of her children...after asking my permission to use my washing machine first. This is because we respect each other and don't expect that anyone will wait on us like a servant when we come to visit.

My wife and I usually share the laundry responsibilities, but she is the one that usually folds them and puts them away. She has more patience with that sort of thing that I do, and while I don't mind helping her fold them when I can, I truly cannot stand putting it all away into the proper drawers and stuff. I don't know why I hate it so much, I will wash, dry, and fold clothes all day long, but I cannot stand to put them away. Oh, I just realized that I don't know if I have any clothes to wear to work tomorrow, so I need to check that before I go to bed...LOL

Hiya sanjeev, My own clothes I wash by hand but then rinse them and spin them in the Washer on Delicates. This is good for most womens clothes as most Washers spin too fast now. Washers are great for all the other kind of clothes though, Blankets, Towels, and all that.

Hi sanjeevsingh!^^ When I was still a student, I used to wash my own clothes. I was living far from home in a boarding house so no one was there to do it for me. I couldn't pay for a laundry service because I don't have that much allowance. So I wash my clothes every week. Now that I am working, I pay a relative to wash my clothes for me every two weeks. I tend to get lazy during weekends and I tell myself, hey, I work five days in a week, I deserve two days of full rest. And besides, I earn money so I can pay now for my laundry. And since it is a relative that do it for me, it's cheaper. It's not only in my advantage though, she can get her payment in advance and she can borrow money from me all the time (if I have money).^^

I wash clothes after I wear them all of the time. My mom used to try to save money and time spent on the wash, so after church or anywhere else where clothes were only worn a couple hours, we would have to hang them up in the closset. I never really liked doing that though and now I don't. Same thing with towels, my mom would say that once you got out of the bath or shower, you were only drying yourself off and you were clean, so how could the towel really be dirty? We would have to hang them up to dry and reuse one or two more times before putting them in the laundry.

I wash my own cloths. I go to a laundry mat once a week to wash my clothes. I do not have a dryer or washer were I live so I have to go to a launrdy mat. I live alone so I have to wash my own clothes. When I grew up my mom was really touchy about other people using the washer. So I never learn how to do my wash on my own. She did mine and everyone else's. I babysat alot for my sister when I was older and she was nice enough to show me how to use a washer and dryer! I always appreciated that!

I have washed my own clothes since I was in Junior High. It's not that hard and not worth the price of paying someone else. I don't mind the chore and it's not too time consuming.

i'm a girl, certainly i'll wash my clothes all alone, no matter at home, or working outside. i still remembered when i was a child, i washed all the clothes of my family, my parents', my brother's, and myself's. it's a custom in my hometown, the girls wash clothes, cook, and sweep the floor, and other housework.

Hi Sanjee, I used to wash my own clothes before when we don't have our helper yet. now, i am so grateful that our helper is doing it for me. i am relieved with any laundry now. these were some of my experiences as it relates to washing clothes: manual washing: 1. i got itchty hands for an allergic reaction to laundry soap 2. i had wounds on my fingers due to strong reaction to detergent soaps 3. mixed colors washing machine: 1. mixed colors that resulted to stains in the clothes 2. deformed bra and torn blouses (not advisable for washing machine) 2

My friend! I would love to wash all my clothes with my own. But I can't. Why? Because I wash the clothes which I can do perfectly myself, but the ones which I don't needs much care are subject of the laundry service. Such as, blazers, coats, jeans etc. require much care during wash may be damaged if attempted by me. That's why I have to send them to the laundry. I wish I could also wash them myself. Good luck!

Yes, I wash my own clothes. I have done this for years. I sometimes wash my sons clothes. I have recently reminded him, I should not have to do this. He came home and made it up to me by cleaning the floor. Happy posting.

I wash my own clothes and I have for many, many years. Laundry is my favorite household chore because you can throw your clothes in the washer or dryer and do other things in the meantime.

Hi sanjeevsingh, At our home we have a maid servant so we put the clothes to her for washing daily, Suppose if she doesn't turn up or if she is absent for a day then we will be washing the clothes ourself. Have a great day.

As far as I am concerned, I think I usually wash my clothes by myself. For me , I do not want to wash my clothes ,But I have no choice to do this,If Ido not wash my clothes myself, there will be no one can help me to wash the clothes.that is why I say I have no choice.
