This is a discussion particularly for Non-Indians. How many of you know how to drape a saree. What do you think about it? When was the last time you draped a saree. Who helped you?

Hi allknowing. I am a non indian for sure, an American from the US and live in California. I have admired so many women I have seen in sarees, but I would not have the foggiest idea of how to drape one if I had one I wished to wear. some I have seen are really beautiful. I could not respond to your picture and make a comment as I am not on your friend's list. but I thought the idea of a saree was to be rather loose, not to show all the curves of the lady wearing it. but this shows what little I know about the rights and wrongs of wearing a saree. Tell us more if you wish, as I have always wondered how they did this without any pins or such. As to what I think of it I think they are truly comfortable looking and some are really quite beautiful too.

If one has a good figure a saree shows it all! You can visit the site http://www.indiamarks.com/guide/Different-Ways-to-Drape-a-Sari/119/ which shows you how to drape a saree. You could wear a saree and use this image as your profile picture. Would love to see you.
