I am beginning to believe the world is really coming to an end. "When you start seeing things that are so unbelievable happening in the world that means its close to the end" We have been seeing horrible things happening for some time now. A 70 year old woman from Salt Lake City decided to kill her former daughter-in-law. Mary Nance Hanson fired multiple shot into the car of Tetyana Nikitina, 34 years old while she was parked in the parking lot of the Head Start Program she worked for as an Assistant Teacher. She was taken to the hospital where she ended up dying. When Mary Hanson was asked why she fired the shots she only said, "I don't know, and that is all I'm going to say." Nikitina was a single mother of two. It seems Nikitina divorced Hanson's son Dale Jankowski in 2005. She has since twice filed Protective orders against her ex claiming cohabitant abuse. Hanson, a concealed weapons permit holder was booked on suspicion of murder. How does a woman of 70 years decide to kill someone expecially her ex-daughter in law. This is has bad as the Grandmother who killed her grandson, a few months back because she didn't want him living in a divorced home, she to was about the same age as Hanson.

Well I was not talking about 2012 at all. I was talking about how women are killing at such an older age. The bible says "when you start to see things happening in the world that you have never seen before the end is near." We have been seeing awful things happening for a long time now and it just seems to be getting worse. For this reason I truly believe the end is near.

~ HI! Well, i don't think the world is coming to its end just because an old woman has killed her daughter in law. Here in my country there are many kills between relatives- son kills his father or the opposite, kids kill and cut man's head, kid kills other kid. I think it is from the community, because the people are isolated or pressured by some way of their victims! ~

I think when two women around the same age have killed in the past two months something is wrong there. Yes, men have killed for ages but you now have women of this age killing. Something is happening to me.

Unimaginable things are happening. People are being killed for weird reasons, and that may include the one in which you have mentioned. There's no word for it already...remember sometime back the one where the man whom did incest to his daughter or something and in turn she gave birth to his children. The nauseous feeling is there whenever we read this type of news. We can't believe it is happening to victims of such heinous crimes, but they did happen. And in this world that we live in. I feel sick just by reading..so I can totally relate to your discussion here.

I correct my sentencing. I don't think by killing an ex daughter-in-law is weird..I think it's crazy and looks like it was done murder with an intention definitely. Curious as to what this woman's sentence would be..

It's a very sad case. I have read tho that in most over 50% of violent crimes the people are known to each other and in some way related. Who knows why? Maybe she found out she is dying and decided to get revenge of some sort while she could. It's rather strange that she would have done it with no particular reason unless perhaps she is mentally ill. One wouldn't think that a person would do something so violent when they had never been violent before. Generally people mellow with age but that certainly wasn't the case here!!

seeing horrible things makes us think that the end is near. But we can't tell when. Though I believe that sooner or later our beloved planet will explode into pieces.Okay, I know I've exaggerated things, but the bible said that people will be more sinful. We'll commit sins more horrible than what granny did with her former daughter-in-law. Remember that the tragedies that happened in different countries, all of them are signs that in someway we should change our evil lyfestyle. Well its just my opinion. so... happy mylotting... :)

Yes I want evil to be gone from the face of the earth. I sometimes feel like evil is taking over the universe.

I think so too. But in our generation there's no right or wrong. Most of the time it's like "Right or wrong if it'll be the best for me then so be it". Sadly Most of us think in that manner.

This is the most horrible thing I've ever heard of! Not long ago, I read a story about a 90 year old nursing home patient that killed her roommate! In answer to your question though, yes I believe what I read in Revelation of the bible is true, and we are truly living in the end times of the world.

Hi lenin, I agree that these are terrible happenings but I don't think it means the world is coming to an end. We hear about so much today that we would not have, even twenty-five years ago. As the world continues to get smaller, I expect that we will hear more and more of such happenings, as terrible as they are. Blessings.

I'll be 70 in about a year and I don't think it's going to convey sainthood on me, I'm sure I can get just as angry as I ever was and if I tended toward killing I would be just as able to do it then as now. What has happened is I am just not as attached to people or things as I once was.

That's crazy, brutal, and inhumane. Unbelievable. I wonder what has gotten to her. :-/ Weird things like this always happen every single day. Anyway, the Bible said that the end of the world is near if catastrophes, famine, and wars happen all at the same time. And it is always said that Jesus' coming is near. We just have to prepare ourselves for that day and while we're still here live our lives to the fullest.

I know the world isn't coming to an end.Every so often every one in the world goes crazy and says it's gonna end for some reason.Back in "1999" people did the same thing.I believe the bible and the bible says the world is not gonna end .Christ is gonna make his second coming sometime,he's gonna renew the earth and heavens, but he's not going to end the world.
