Stalking or Creeping? Are YOU Guilty?

Here on the lot, if you are curious about someone, you "stalk" them. A young friend shocked me one day by saying someone was "creeping" her?! Should I be concerned? Does your mother know? I beg your pardon, someone is WHAT?"Creeping" me. Checking out my FACEBOOK. *phew, sigh of relief* Could someone please come up with a friendlier term? Creeping someone? You have been crept? I creep, you creep he creeps we creep they creep we creep? What ever could be wrong with with the terms such as "perusing", "browsing", "visiting", "exploring"uh, hold on, maybe not exploring! oops there's a misunderstanding in the works. What other words could we use?

hi sulynsi looking, seeking, peeking, peeping uh uh wrong choice,, looking, checking, investigating, ah no again, well how about looking for friends. I give up,too many words can give a bad connotation. wow. words sure are powerful. but seriously I get nervous when we use stalking here as if anyone has ever had someone really emotionally ill stalk them, and almost get hurt from them, you would want to use a different term too. the man that stalked me just would not believe that I did not care for him at all, so finally I did agree to have lunch with him at noon in a fairly busy cafe. good thing too, as he came armed with more gifts and an engagement ring and wedding ring. I tried very gently to tell him I was flattered, but I did not care for him, and could not accept any more gifts. He became violent and two waiters and the cook had to pull him off me before he choked me senseless. The police were called and the man was taken away. So to me stalking is really scary.
