Alright...with due apologies to the very few in here from "down below" who actually think outside their statist parties talking points...I am seriously liking the idea more and more of building a giant brick wall at the New Hampshire southern state line. I am watching Obama's twon hall meeting In Nashua (not realy NH by the way) he gets done with his spsheil of expected talking poitns and starts taking questions. Lo and behold..the first question is damned fltalander from conneticut, a cancer survivor touting the need for health care reform...suprise suprise. Dammit, get your own frikkin town meeting...it's bad enough ya'll come up here for vacation, mock our way of life, talk down to us like children and demand our state look more like yours....we don't need you sending your plants up here to our town meetings with elected officials too. Get back on 91 south and KEEP driving. As if THAT weren't bad enough. the next questioner is D1ck Sweat....our former represenative (who's seat is now occupied by Paul Hoads, our ever absent Berlinite (lol, dont ask) represenative.)...Swett is ANOTHER out of stater, from san fransisco no less...who manegd to worm way in to our state.. Cripe,,,did ANY actual New Hampshire natives show up at this meeting to speak?? Come on freestaters...where are you today?????

A lot of town hall meetings have planted questions. I was shocked to learn that in the past year. I didn't think out of state people were allowed to participate, that makes no sense. Attend, yes, but I don't think they should participate if it's intended for a state they don't reside in. "health care reform" will rear its ugly head everywhere--they want it so badly so that they can use it as a means of control. We're not going to get rid of it. Hey, but Virginia just passed a law that prohibits health care mandates, hooray for them!

It's so frikkin obvios too. And did you hear the collective groan in the crowd when they saif where they were from? lol...it was the same one I let out here at home when I heard it. NH now has a bill in the pipline to nullify any health mandates too, thank god for people like represenative Dan Itse...one of the few good ones left in our legislature...though even our dems aren't like dems elsewhere...

I'll never cease to be amazed by the way New Hampshire is a libertarian state surrounded by states so left wing that they border on communism. How you've avoided a full scale invasion and takeover is beyond me. Of course you know plants like this are typical. At least this time we didn't see any that were directly on Obama's or the DNC's payroll pretending to be doctors. You also know that Obama prefers to know and screen questions first so as to have the response written and telepromptered whenever possible.

"How you've avoided a full scale invasion and takeover is beyond me." Oh trust me, we haven't avoided it. Tourists who decide they like it so much they want to move up here and change it to be exactly like where they moved from is the usual prefered choice of invasion tactics. Vermont is a whole other country...strangely enough in some ways even more libertarian than we are...in other ways, more statist than even Mass is. I wish for once Obama would step more than 5 feet away from the mass border and hold one of his publicity tour stops up my way. He did once durring the campaign...in Berlin of all places (ugh...little quebec...largest city north of the notches...) That was the airport you heard him mention in Milan with the wood stove by the way..lol..But other than that, he stays in friendly territory down below.

I have heard of the Free State Project but this sounds like the Enslave State Project.

Free state project is a great bunch and a reeally great concept...if they could just execute it effectively enough...it's grown slowly but no where near the target number yet.

I thought of you while that was on, X. I even wondered if you may have been there or if it was near where you live. I understand what you mean about people showing up from outside the state, that was what I thought when all of the town hall protests were going on last summer, it didn't seem right that people were being bused in to meetings in districts that weren't their own and disrupting them for the real constituents. I will say, however, in semi-defense of the three time cancer survivor that maybe she felt it would be her only opportunity to see the President and ask him a question. Annie

Sorry I took so long to get back! What were the protesting around the corner, the President's policies? I can't say for sure if they covered it or not but I didn't hear anything about it. I'm usually "multi-tasking" so I can't swear to it. Annie

lol, no, it was actually on the oposite end of the state from me...a lot of us up this far consider that part of New Hampshire as more "northern Mass". I'm up near the canadian BOrder, Nashua is a few miles from the Mass border, whole different world. He never comes up to this end of the state, not enough population to get publicity I guess. These outiseders are the same folks who stick their noses in our legislative process on almost a daily basis...if you don't like our laws...then stay the hell out of my state people!!! But I digress...It was just too convenient that the first question was not only from an outsider, but a cancer survivor...am I saying she's lieing?...dunno what to think...it was just too convenient, especialy since question number 2 came from a former democratic represenative (who was also a transplant from out of state in the 90s'). It was at that point I switched it off. Also, what DIDN'T get covered was the 400 person protest, many very young adults, all local, around the corner...barely a peep about that.
