Every so often I become thoroughly discouraged with Mylot. :( I don't have a lot of time to spend here, firstly. But, I honestly felt that I contributed quite well to discussions and was not rated for my contributions, in some cases! Oh well, I am here to try contributing to Mylot again, but the time I spend here is very limited, as I said before. How about you? Do you ever feel discouraged Mylotting? Have a good day or evening, as the case my be!

when i got promoted, i had very few available time for mylot. until i totally forgot about it. actually, what made me inactive was when they changed their payment scheme from e-gold to paypal. i don't have a paypal account back then, so, aside from being busy, the idea of not getting your money is a total discouraging fact. i recently got my paypal account verified, so, i'm back. unfortunately, i lost my previous earnings. so, i'm here to earn it back. i hope my referrals would go back too.

I wish you the best of luck. I am sorry to hear about your bad experience of not getting your money, when you didn't have a paypal account. Best wishes for your future success here on Mylot! :)

Sometimes I am just doubtful about the issue of payment. If the payment goes truely to the account, I would like to be in contribution of spending time and working here with my efforts.

mylot does pay, really. A lot of members here have been paid, including myself, so you can be rest assured of that. Just enjoy yourself answering and commenting and you'll reach your minimum payout in no time.

hi fineartist so many times when a newer person here is discouraged with mylot some of it is their own fault for they refused to read the guidelines and rules and the questions and answers so they just plowed along making discussions that broke the rules and getting deleted or making one line responses that do not get paid and same for one line anything posts, the posts must have some quality to them and be readable to other posters to get paid any substantial amount.so do read all the information as it can help you to make money here and to have fun too. ihave never been discouraged here as I have made a lot of mylot friends.

i have a few years on mylot, from the time when it was e-gold as a payment processor . After that, i didn`t posted, because in my country it wasn`t paypal available, so i quited . When i saw that paypal was avaiable for me too , i`ve camed back to mylot and i`m so happy i did that, because it`s so easy to earn money in our spare time . I have some weeks /months when i can`t come to mylot to post, because i have some other jobs to do .

If you look at mylot as a money making site then chances are you'll get frustrated and leave sooner than you think. This holds true if you're earning in dollars already. A few cents here and there seems too little with all your efforts of creating discussions and posting comments. Mylot should be treated as a place to relax and share your thoughts and learn from others as well no matter how insignificant it is. The more you pressure yourself to reach payout, the more likelihood of you getting bored. It's true that there are cases where responses from some members may not be what you are expecting but that is expected already considering the culture and age gap of every member here. If you are serious in making money online then you have to look for other sites that pays more but you can use mylot to solicit ideas and tips about other sites. I'm sure a lot would be more than happy to assist.

what!? 40 dollars? man, that's a lot . Well whatever it is that you said must have pissed off someone big time. But what's important is we learn from past mistakes and move on. but 40 dollars...sigh...

well, i am basically new and i don't give much to mundane matters. the discussions are very interesting and that's what keeps me from mylotting. discouraged? what do you mean, is it the income? well, having joined mylot and going through reaching a milestone response of over 500 speaks a lot about interest. perhaps, your reason -- even if its different -- is as good as mine, in staying with, even returning to mylot...

Thanks for your feedback! The disappointment was about meager earnings. Thanks for posting! :)

indeed, we can earn better in other areas where we have expertise... and that's fulfilling, too... the time is worth the effort, and both were well compensated... in mylot, the intrinsic reward is what truly matters, the payment is too meager to even buy a basic need...

I gave up on Mylot a long time ago and haven't posted anything in ages. It wasn't really the site, but some of the behavior of the people here. I only respond to a discussion now and then.

I get discouraged when I post a lot but doesn't get credited for it but what the heck. At least I got to air out my opinion. I love being able to say what I want in a discussion that I am interested in.

My relationship with myLot is a actually on and off. I think we've all had some disappearances and give-up sessions at some point. It's just surprising why lately I'm feeling like coming here more often lately. But some of my friends are gone.

I feel discouraged alot! I felt like leaving a number of times! I get discouraged when I have good discussions and end up with little to no responses! I try to come on everyday. I have to stay active or I will never come back. I don't have alot of time to be on either. I do contribute to discussions but not alot. Getting discourage has alot to do with it! It is hard to example but I'm pretty sure I know where you are coming from!

Honestly, sometimes I also feel discouraged with mylot. But nothing bad or unfair happened to me in mylot. I think I am paid fairly. One just needs to be patient in earning money here. The reason I sometimes go for a month or two without posting here is because I tend to get bored easily. I guess I need a time-off then when I miss mylot already, I post here again.

No, I'm never discouraged by the ratings on mylot. I joined because of the interesting chat. Earning a penny every now and then is a bonus, not that I've actually earned anything yet. I just love internet chat. I'm on a few other boards with no pay, for the stimulating talk.

I guess I can understand how you feel, but as I am still fairly new here, this hasn't happened to me yet. Did you lose your earnings during your hiatus?? I feel like, above all else, it would be the most discouraging to come back only to find your account balance reset to $0.00, especially after the time you had put in before...

It positive way to participate at my lot. we should learn that the upgrading or degrading of rates does no concern with the administration of the site. The people attend the mylot rate the fellows at mylot. If you have many friends, you will be rated up. Same problem is with myself also. I was degraded by the visitor, but i am not worried. I am still here after a long time like you.

I'd like to say welcome back to you. I've been hibernating from mylot for quite a few times within these 3 years, but I came back each time. All my hibernation timings were short periods, except for one, where I needed a slightly longer time. Just enjoy yourself here, and surround yourself with discussions that you feel you can contribute more. There are lots of friends whom post some very good discussions and those thinking types too. Good luck and hope to see more of you here yeah.

no, i never got discouraged or disappointed with mylot. i love to post and i really love the site so much. though i earn not that much, i still feel this is my second home or i say, my home in the internet. i found a lot of friends here. i have some drawbacks but they are so small things, very negligible and can handle so lightly.

I never really get discouraged with mylot. Quite the contrary. I am so glad that I am a part of the mylot community that I can't see myself ever leaving here and not coming back. I have so much fun in here, sharing and learning, and that is what it is all about. When I first started in mylot, I was here more for teh money, but my feelings on that have changed over time. Our earnings are so low here anyway that we don't darn much to get stressed about it, and just have fun while we are here. I hope to be here for many years to come. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Hi Fineartist, people are easy to get tired of the repeating things. I remember that I can update the payment for the first month, but now, it seems to be a long time to update the payment. The payment is very limited that I need to spend a lot of time on posting. By the way, welcome back to mylot and hope that you can bring a lot of funny discussion here. I am sure that your discussion will worth of your earning.
