I have been on a diet for about 3 weeks. By combining exercise 3 or 4 times per week as a one hour workout each time, I have lost over 12 pounds without severe dieting. I have dropped the sweets, and reduced eating between meals. After that, most of my eating habits have not changed dramatically. It is the exercise routine that is burning off about 700 calories per time plus getting my metabolism cranked into a higher gear.

Congratulations that is great! I have dropped 10lbs since the beginning of the year doing the same as you. Watching what you eat is very important. Are you going to the gym or doing dvds or whatever?

What exercise routine are you doing that is burning off 700 calories? Exercise is not only tremendously helpful in loosing weight, it will also help you look trimmed and toned, If you are incorporating weight training into your exercise regimen, the muscle that you are building also will require that your body burn more calories. You'll also find that when you are done dieting that exercise is one of the keys to keeping the weight off. Congratulations. Great job.

Way to go! I've been doing weight watchers since may. I've lost 20 pounds so far. I admittedly don't exercise hardly at all. I have a wii fit but I lost motivation to work out. A friend joined weight watchers with me and that gave me more motivation to work hard at losing the weight. we joined a gym wednesday evening. last night we proudly went down and worked out for an hour and a half. I feel pretty good today and hope that it helps jump start my weight loss.

Awesome! I've also been exercising 3 to 4 times a week for an hour, and although my goal is more to get fit than to lose weight and my program is to build muscle, I did lose some weight as well. I'm on a bit of a hiatus right now since I just got back from the vacation I was getting fit for, but I will be back in the gym come March, and I can't wait!

Well, Exercise really makes a big difference in weigh loss. To lose weight, you must burn more calories than you eat. According to a wealth of research, exercise is the silver bullet for a better quality of life. Exercise is a key way to do this. When you exercise regularly, you build stronger muscles.. Muscles cells burn more calories than fat cells throughout the day, even while you are resting. This helps boost your metabolism. Exercising and eating right must become things that you do without question, like bathing and brushing your teeth. Unless you are convinced of the benefits, you will not succeed.

Exercise out doors as far as possible. There are two advantages of doing whatever you are doing out side. One advantage is that it gives your body a chance to get a lot of the much needed fresh air and sunshine. The second advantage is that the surroundings keep you perked up and it is a break form remaining cooped up all day lon
