I was live in a apartment, we have laudry room in our building. The couple live our room before had a small washing machine in the bashroom, but they take it away when they move. We can afford a small washin machine like $200, but this money aslo seems a large part of our finance. And we will live in this city at least 3 years. The most reason I want buy a washin machine is our public laudry machine sometimes seems dirty, and I thought may some bug climb in it make me uncomfortable(maybe this is my problem). So if you live apartment and you have laudry room in that building, would still buy your family a washing machine?

If the laundry room machine is dirty, i would want to buy my own washing machine. Especially when you are living with your family. you are living for 3 years in the city. It's a longtime and you should consider the cleanliness of your clothes. when you are moving, the washing machine can be moved as well and you will not need to laundry your clothes at other place anymore. just do it your own. it saves cost alot.

its better to have a machine than washing with your hand. you can take the time to do something else.

Hi shan0822, Washing machine for me is so important in the house.Well if you have a budget for it then buy because it is better to have our own washing machine to use than using public washing machine.I really understand how you feel..By the way,There were appliance store that offers installment basis,if you wish.Good Luck!

Hi Shan, If it strains your budget to buy a washing machine, make do with the available options that you have. If not, you might need to look at the need to hand wash. All you need to do is schedule your laundry time so that you only need to wash a few clothes at a time so as not to overburden yourself. I have a washing at home but we handwash for small items. I don't want to entertain the thought of having other people use it with the possibility of sharing our dirt.

I was lucky as my apartament already had a washing machine when I moved in. If I hadn't have one, I would have bought one as there's no laundry nearby. If there had been a laundry nearby, they're expensive, at least where I live, so I would end up prefering to buy my own washing machine, even a cheap second hand one, and not having to walk down the street with my dirty clothes.

I do live in an apartment and I do have a washing machine and a dryer. The apartment came with them. If the landlord had taken the machines out I certainly would buy a washing machine at least for my apartment once I saved up the money for one. Until I could have my own washing machine, I would bring those wipes that disinfect and wipe out the tub of the public washing machine before putting my clothes in to wash.

when we lived in an apartment, we always took our laundry over to my parents and did it! we have friends who live in an apartment and that is their biggest complaint. to have to schlep their laundry down to do it downstairs.

yes i think it is one of the most important thing in a household.if you have a small family you dont need to buy a bulky and fancy one a small and simple washing machine would do.as long as it can do the job you dont need a huge washing machine.even if you live in an apartment or renting it it is still important to have one in every house.

we live in apartment but the apartment that we live at is not a building type apartment. it looks like a two story house so since we dont have a public wash room we need to buy a washing machine. if ever we live at a apartment like the one you are mentioning i guess i will buy my own washing machine as well. and it might be pretty crowded specially on weekends and i dont like to wait so i will buy my own washing machine if ever i live on a area like that. it is more worry free if i use my own washing machine and i know i will clean it afetr every use not like public washing machine some people does not clean it after use.

I used to live in an apartment a long time ago. I didnt want to wash my clothes in the public machines. I bought some small ones, you can stack them one on top of the other. I had both the washing and drying machines. I liked it a lot. Didnt have to carry all the clothes downstairs or risk having someone touch my clothes. I highly recommend it, you're going to love it. Good Luck.
