So I'm just started out on Amazon Mechanical Turk and it's the first site where there are REAL jobs, not just people paying you to click on their ads. I did a lot of stuff today that should amount to around $2.00, not much but it can get the ball rolling. Anybody else have any luck with MTurk?

I have had some good experience with Amazon MTurk; I would have to say that the quality and quantity of good jobs varies and is never really constant. There was a time that I made a good $15-20 a month on the site. That's not a lot in terms of making money, but I would turn it into credit on Amazon.com and used their low prices to save on buying things I might have bought somewhere else for more. I even used my MTurk last year to pay for my entire year of Amazon Prime membership, so that worked out for me, too. In the end, it's a good site a times, it hit a dry spell for a while but for a few extra bucks, it's a good gig.

Amazon Prime is like a preferred shoppers blub for Amazon.com; it gives you free 2-day shipping on everything you order from them, or ger one-day shipping for $3.99; they also provide you with coupons ans special sales just for Prime members.

I just read an article on mturk and it does look promising. I'm going to check it out soon as time will allow. It'll be a great addition to the online potential. What's the minimum payment and how do they pay? Just curious as I just read it's potentially advantageous.

Hi ab :) Just found Amazon MTurk accidentally in a Facebook application and I was just new to the site hours early and I find it good though my hits aren't approved yet. I believe Amazon does not pay through PayPal. But do they also pay through check? :(

Actually MTurk only pays directly to checking account or Amazon gift card, as far as I can tell they don't pat via PayPal. I have not tried contacting support about it, though. I believe that paypal can also simulate a bank account so there may be an option to do that as well. Good luck and happy earning!

Thanks for joining in! Yeah it's probably the most legit site that I've found yet, the only bad thing is that you can't transfer to PayPal. I wanted to use my earnings on there to boost some of my other sites, but I don't really want to give them my bank account number, not yet anyway. Have a wonderful day!

Well so far I have made $1.27 with about another $2.00 still pending, just doing small jobs, nothing over $.02. I haven't had a denied HIT yet. Try finding jobs with small payouts but a lot of HITs available, something easy like categorizing products. Good luck, and have a great day!
