Today the World is made up of many types of people, Islamic Athiests Christians Born Again Christians, Mormons Agnotics, I could go on and onm. I just would like to hear the reasoning why you believe in a certain type of Religion. ie Why is your God the Right one.

Wow, front row here! You know, maybe I shouldn't be replying to this one because I don't believe in an all powerful entity in the traditional sense. I never liked the fact that most religions tell that their belief is right and everything else is wrong and punishable in the afterlife. It makes sense to me that we should believe in what makes sense to us, not what some set belief systems tells us is right. If something were ultimately right, it wouldn't matter if we believed in something else because that, of course, would be pointless anyway, so there is no point in punishing people for that. If anything I lean more towards Buddhism, in which one is encouraged to better himself and his own ways. (I used the male form there only for proper grammar, I'm not sexist.) If only one of the many religions were right, then we run the risk of not believing the right one and being judged anyway, so it's really a lose-lose situation to see the world like that. I do believe in forces beyond our known physical world, a "lifeforce" if you will, that may also be interpreted in other religions as a "god", however not existing as a single, all powerful entity, but as the combined conciousness of everything that ever lived. But enough said on my part, I could go on forever about my beliefs. I just want to say that I strongly believe that nobody should have to believe in something that doesn't make sense to them.

I think that science is definitely a wonderful tool for our understanding, but we need to realize that there are always thing that we don't understand we, that doesn't mean that they aren't there.

There is only one Supreme God. It is our responsibility to get to know him. He is the god of gods. What is his name? Psalm 83:18 (King James Version) 18That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth. Psalm 83:18 (Young's Literal Translation) 18And they know that Thou -- (Thy name [is] Jehovah -- by Thyself,) [Art] the Most High over all the earth!
